Obituary: On 9, 2010, Adelle "Fritzie" Gruentzel Robinsons courageous battle with Parkinsons came to a peaceful end, with her three daughters and two grand-daughters at her side. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Daniel A. Robinson and parents Mr. and Mrs. Eugene A. Gruentzel. Fritzie was born in Crandon, Wisconsin on 10, 1931. She joined the religious life at an early age, becoming a Franciscan Sister. Later, she attended the University of Wisconsin, where she met and married Daniel Robinson. She devoted her life to her husband, three daughters, and four grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters: Zoe and her husband, Chris Whiting of Marietta GA, Cassandra and her husband, Hack Heyward of Bend OR, and Danielle and her husband, Greg Pierce of Roswell GA. Grandchildren, Chelsea & Cameron Whiting of Marietta GA and Hack & Coe Heyward of Bend OR. The family would like to thank Compassionate Hospice, Waterford Gardens, and Seniors First Choice for taking excellent care of Fritzie and her family. A special thank you to Moms caretakers: Eureka Weems, Binta Haidara, and Stacey Johnson. Visitation will be held at Pattersons Oglethorpe Hill, Atlanta, GA on 16, 2010 from 9:00am to 10:30am. A graveside service will immediately follow at 11:00am at Arlington Memorial Park, Sandy Springs, GA. Obituary: Wm. F. Robins passed away on 31, 2015, in Sandy Springs GA. His family was by his side. Bill was born on his family’s ranch in Swan River, Manitoba, Canada on 11, 1920. He was the only child of Vinita & Harry Robins. Bill came to the U.S. as a toddler and grew up in Chicago. He enlisted in the Army/Air Force in 1942, after the bombing of Pearl Harbor, and served in the European-African-Middle Eastern Theater until the end or WWII. He married Yvonne Moyer Smith May 5, 1956 and was in love with her all of his life. She preceded him in death. had four daughters; Victoria Ann Martin, Leslie Gail Robins, Willa Naomi Myers, and Paula Elizabeth Robins; five grandchildren, Jacob Myers (who proceeded him in death), Jessica (Myers) Blackburn, Steven Martin, Zachary & Rachel Temin; as well as three great grandchildren, Braydon & Collin Martin and Leo Blackburn. Bill had a half-sister, Florence, (who proceeded him in death) and many cousins through out the U.S. and Canada. Bill was active in his church, community and completely dedicated to his family. He will be missed. The family will hold a memorial service at the Dunwoody United Methodist Church on 25, 2015 at 2:00. Visitation with the family will be held at 1:00 in the church’s parlor. |
