Obituary: Antoinette Scagnelli Rovinelli, 101; passed away peacefully on 12, 2014. Antoinette was born in Brooklyn, NY on 27, 1912. Antoinette married Patrick Rovinelli on 21,1935. lived in Framingham, MA for 57 years. Antoinette worked at General Electric aka Telechron in Ashland, MA for 36 years and retired in 1968. Shortly after retirement, she moved to Deltona, FL. the passing of her husband in 1969, she moved to Orlando, FL to make her home with her daughter Irene Rice and husband Bernard Rice and resided there for over 40 years. Antoinette was a lifetime member of the original Framingham Heart Program which started in 1947. She loved to play Bingo, do crafts and has made over 2000 baby hats that she donated to the Arnold Palmer Children's Hospital and Orlando Regional Medical . She also made many afghans, potholders and crosses for family and friends. She is survived by her two daughters Irene Rice of Orlando, FL; Barbara (Richard) Snow of Bronson, FL; Three grandchildren Steven (Linda) Rice; Dana (Karla) Rice; Sheila Miaoulis; and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Patrick Rovinelli and son-in-law Bernard Rice. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Orlando, FL on , 18 at 11:30am. Burial will be held at St. Tarcisius Catholic in Framingham, MA at a later date. In lieu of flowers, family requests that donations be sent to the Framingham Heart Study at 73 Mt. Obituary: Rover, Robert W. passed away after a lengthy illness on , 28th, at the age of 71. He was born in Queens, NY, on 6, 1943, but his family moved to Tampa, FL, when he was 2 years old. Robert graduated from H. B. Plant High School, Tampa, FL in 1962. He had joined the Naval Reserves prior to his graduation and entered the U.S. Navy shortly after graduation. He spent several more years as a Reservist. Soon after returning home from the Navy, Mr. Rover was hired by Delta Air Lines. He spent many years in Tampa, and in, 1988, was transferred to Orlando, where his family still resides. In 2002, after 34 years with Delta he retired at the age of 58. Even after retirement he continued to work at the Royal Buick Dealership and then part-time for Publix Super Markets. He spent many decades as a member of the SCCA (Sports Car Club of America); and, eventually, became Head of the Timing and Scoring for the Central Florida Group. Mr. Rover is survived by his wife, Josephine Anne (Jo Anne) Dunaway Rover, his 2 sons: Craig Allen Rover and Kyle Andrew Rover, his brother, Thomas J. Rover, as well as 9 nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held for Robert Rover at the Baldwin-Fairchild , 428 E. Plant Street, Winter Garden Florida, (407-656-2233) at 2 pm on , 20th, 2014. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that a donation be made to the American Heart Association. |
