Obituary: James Ray (JR) Robinson, 89, passed away , May 27, 2017 in Jacksonville, FL. He was born 15, 1928 to Stanley and Lila Robinson. He believed in hard work, serving in the US Air force, retired from CSX Railroad, and worked throughout his retirement to serve his church community and neighbors. He enjoyed wood-working, landscaping, and was an all-around handyman. JR never failed to light up the room with his dry sense of humor and good-natured teasing. He was a generous man who loved his family and serving the Lord. JRs family and friends always depended on his steady and faithful nature, which was a reflection of his commitment and love for Jesus who he met with faithfully every single morning. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. JR is survived by his wife of 67 years Jeannette, daughters Debbi (Ron) Gillespie and Cindy (Alan) Fridley, his sister Catherine Johnson, five grandchildren: Stephanie, Justin, Amber, Hollie, and Hope, five great-grandsons, three nieces and one nephew. A graveside service will be held on , May 30, 2017 at 4:00pm at Riverside Memorial Park. |

Obituary: Joseph Donald Robinson Jr Donnie, 66, of Ormond Beach passed away on 5, 2017. Donnie was born in Morgantown, West Virginia and has been a resident of Volusia for 64 years. He was employed by Halifax Hospital for 23 years until his retirement in 2008. An avid hunter Donnie was a member of the Bimini One East Hunt Club in Bunnell, FL since 1980 and especially enjoyed Spring Gobbler season. He also enjoyed fishing, and NASCAR. The most important thing to him however, was his family and spending time with them. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 45 years Becky; his daughter, Gwen Spaulding, son-in-law Robert; sisters, Connie Davis, Vi Robertson and Ruby Walker; brother in-laws Wendell Robertson, Sonny Smith; Paul Chandler ; sister-in-law Terri Chandler; grandchildren, Wyatt and Kailyn Spaulding; many nieces, nephew great nieces and great nephews. The family will receive friends 1:00-3:00 pm, 10, 2017 at Volusia Memorial 548 N. Nova Road Ormond Beach. A graveside service will follow at 3:00pm in Volusia Memorial Park, Ormond Beach.
