Obituary: Joan Acker Del Rio, 66, of Tampa, FL, passed away on 22, 2015 after a long battle with ovarian cancer. Born 4, 1948 in Springfield, MA, Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Burton and Dorathea Acker, and is survived by Richard, her loving husband of nearly 49 years, her daughter Lori Del Rio, daughter and son-in-law Gia and Larry Clinkscales, son and daughter-in-law Rick and Del Rio, 3 granddaughters, and 3 grandsons. She was a valued employee and friend at Telsouth Communications for almost 20 years. Joan was full of life and adventure. She was an NRA and motorcycle instructor, a spiritualist, an animal lover, and a huge supporter of ovarian cancer research and the American Heart Association. Her joyful personality, compassion, and beautiful smile will be missed by all of her family and friends. A graveside service will be held on , 2, at 10 am at the Florida National , 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL. Obituary: Tribute for Drew J.Rinzivillo 2, 1956 - May 25, 2016 Drew, a long-time resident of Jacksonville Beach, passed away at his home on the beach on May 25th. A memorial service was held on the beach on , May 30th to celebrate his life. Drew Joseph Rinzivillo was born on 2, 1956 in Peekskill, NY to Joseph and Ellen Rinzivillo. He was the 2nd of four children. Drew graduated from Dixie Hollins High School in 1974 and then went on to attend Florida State University, where he received a B.S. Degree in Accounting. He was employed by Amusement Management Partners (AMP) in Jacksonville. Drew was a member of the Pasadena Community Church in Pasadena, FL. Drew was also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, The Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) Jacksonville Chapter. His interests included classic cars and motorcycles. In fact his favorite car was his 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner. Drew loved to work on his 1987 Honda Prelude, A.K.A. he blue dream in his spare time. His avid love of automobiles fueled his yearning to have been an auto mechanic. On many occasions, he shared with his brother that he would have loved to have been a mechanic. His favorite companion was a family pet, Kitter. In fact, as a special anniversary gift for my parents Drew had an oil painting done from a photograph of Kitter. Living at the beach, he enjoyed the amenities it offered. He loved riding his bicycle, walking along the beach, swimming, eating at local diners, and the cool evening breezes. A special place Drew loved to visit was the town of St. Mary's, George. His love the ambience and staying at the Riverview Hotel. Drew was always thrift smart. He knew how to save a penny. My younger sister Yvonne recalls a memory of how much Drew loved day old bananas. I think of this quote when I'm reminded of my brother. "Rich people stay rich by living like their broke. Broke people stay broke by living like they're rich." Drew dreamed of one day possibly retiring in Mexico. He enjoyed traveling to the family cabin in Northeast Georgia for rest and relaxation. We will never ever forget Drew's infectious smile and quick wit. He made us laugh. Drew was famous for his one liners. I think there's nothing more attractive than someone who doesn't take themselves too seriously. He would make us laugh when we were not even in the mood to smile. Never underestimate the importance of having a person in your life who can always make you smile. That was my brother Drew. Drew described himself as "I'm a gentlemen with traditional values, attentive, caring, informed, spontaneous, non-confrontational, very pragmatic with a wacky sense of humor. My hobbies include bike riding, I like to exercise but I'm not an exorcist, enjoy old movies, day trips and good conversation. I'm loyal, dependable & predictable. I consider myself a good listener and a people pleaser, I mold well into most families and love kids. To sum it up I'm a comic nerd" Drew is survived by his mother Ellen of South Pasadena, FL. His two brothers. Older brother Ron and his spouse Katrina from Hudson, FL. Younger brother Peter from Greenville, SC and his younger sister Yvonne and her spouse Mike from Pinellas Park. He has a niece Lauren and nephew Andrew. |
