Obituary: Charles Eugene Rigdon entered into the gates of heaven 20, 2017. Charlie was born 19, 1949 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was the 5th of 7 children. Charlie was a very kind, humble, Southern gentleman. Charlie served in Vietnam and he had 3 sons who served in Iraq and Afghanistan. He loved his wife, Pat, and his family. He had 6 children, 11 grandchildren (one on the way) and 5 great-grandchildren. Charlie always said this was his legacy. Charlie also loved his 2 dogs, Bear and Lacey. He was a Republican, Gator and Jaguars fan. He was a member of Believers Joy Worship Oceanway. His Pastor was Lyle Shiferdek. He loved his spiritual family. Charlie will be missed. Your loved ones will see you on the other side. Visitation will be held from 11am-12pm on , 27 at Hardage-Giddens Town & Country . The funeral service will be held at 12pm at Hardage-Giddens Town & Country , followed by interment at Jacksonville National with military honors. Obituary: Charles Hutton Bull Rigdon, Jr., age 85, passed away on 7, 2014 at Fort Walton Beach Medical to be with his Lord and Savior and join his father, mother, sister and grandchild. Bull was born in Portland, FL on 22, 1929 to Charles Hutton Rigdon, Sr and Mamie Ward Rigdon. Bull was a WWII and Korean War veteran. He began his Civil Service er at Eglin AFB in 1950 where he served meritoriously for 43 years in civil engineering. He was serving as CEO of Northwest Florida Fair upon his death. Bull is survived by his wife, Helen Hunt Rigdon, daughter, Karen Rigdon Hughes (Bill), son, Charles William Rigdon (Tina), grandson, Charles William Lamkin, granddaughter, Lauren Ashley Rigdon, grandson, Blake William Rigdon, sister, Ouida Rigdon Miller, stepson, Michael B. Dodson (Tracy) and granddaughter, Montana Dodson. During his life Bull was active in many organizations. He was an active member of First Presbyterian Church where he was serving as an elder at the time of his death. Also, noteworthy were Past Potentate of Hadji Temple, Master mason of Alpha Lodge #172, service on the Okaloosa Gas Board for 30 years, and service on the Fort Walton Beach City Council for 21 years where he was serving at the time of his death. Services for Bull will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Fort Walton Beach, FL with visitation 9, 2014 from 5:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. A funeral service will be held on 10, 2014 at 11:00 A.M., with burial following at Beal Memorial . In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Fort Walton Beach, FL and the Shriners Crippled Childrens Fund.
