Obituary: My Mother Anne Born in Brooklyn N.Y. on May 6, 1913, the oldest of 7 children Anne grew up helping her mother raise a new baby born every 3 years. She was the leader of her siblings and her fathers pet who he named after his mother. She could do no wrong in his eyes and she loved to tell stories about how she got away with everything like staying out late and going to Bars and Dance Halls with her girlfriends. As soon as she graduated from High School she continued on to Secretarial School and quickly found a full time position with Sachs 5th Ave in NYC. and met many of her lifelong friends. One night when she was home alone, her brother Charlies best friend Jim stopped by to see him. Since he wasn't home he asked Anne if she would like to go to a movie with him. She went and the rest was history. Two years later they were married and a year later she gave birth to Charlie her one and only child. I guess she decided one was enough after raising all her siblings. She continued working and her mom and her youngest sister Aunt Camille took over the task of babysitting. In The Early 50's Jim and Anne made a move to L.I. There she got a position in aa bank as an Executive Secretary and made many new friends with whom she enjoyed her girls night out once a week. Forced to retire at the age of 65 her and Jim spent time traveling with friends and entertaining. Always in love with warm sunny Florida, in 1984 they decided to move to Delray Beach where they spent the rest of their years enjoying the good life. made many new friends and were active in their club house playing cards, going on trips and enjoying shows and parties. She had a great life and enjoyed it to the fullest. She loved to dance and was known to have a drink or 2 or 3! Her Grandchildren have fond memories of her as their crazy grandma who went to amusement parks with them and went on the rides, and took them on trips to Lake George, the Amish Country and others. Her nieces and nephews loved her and always called her Aunt Anna the Matriarch of the family. Anne was always active. She bowled until she was in her 90's, drove into her 90's She played Piano, loved to play Canasta ad most of all loved the Slot Machines. She loved hosting parties and Holidays and called herself Pearl Mester, the Martha Stewart of yesteryear. She was one of a kind and had a list of one liners that will stay in everyones memories forever. The Good old days and the nights weren't bad either If you don't laugh you'll cry Age is only a number I know it's hard but don't hold it against me Cock a doodle doo 1 any C*** will do It's a great life if you don't weaken Whats exciting I said 2 Beers You have to get up early to fool me You have to learn what I forgot. These memorable lines, plus many many more stories of her other family members will be cherished and will live in our hearts forever. She was one of a kind and loved life and her family. May you rest in Peace and reunite with Dad and continue your 70 year marriage in heaven for eternity. Obituary: Rienzo, Alice D. Alice D. Rienzo, 72, of Tequesta, FL passed away on 19, 2017 after a long battle with liver cancer. Alice was co owner of The Connection Sub Shop in Jupiter. She was the most kind, generous, loving person. She is survived by her husband, Charles; four children, Kris, Vincent, Jill and Stacey and two step-children, Robert and Carol-Anne; sister, Joann; brother, James; ten loving grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. God saw she was getting tired, and a cure was not to be. He wrapped her in his loving arms and whispered Come with me. Pauline graduated from Keuka and received her Master of Social Work from the University of Buffalo, NY. She married Otto A. Riemer on 1, 1962. He preceded her in death. Pauline had a career in Psychiatric Social Work and worked for the following agencies City and School of Progressive Education in New York City, Buffalo University with the American Red Cross and the Onondaga Psychiatric , Syracuse Universitys Medical s Outpatient Clinics, Cayuga for Children in Auburn, NY, State Department of Social Services in Phoenix, AZ, Rehabilitation Mercy Hospital in Auburn, NY. She was a member of the English-Speaking Union, Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra League. Pauline had a passion for the Philharmonic Orchestra, giving away many scholarships and playing cards. She is survived by her adopted family: James Burch, Scott and Claudia Seger, John and Pamula Henry, Lorraine Burch, Mike and Rose Burch.
