Obituary: Frances J. Rhoa went to be with Jesus , 7, 2014 at 6:30 AM. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, her three brothers and two sisters. Frances is survived by her sister Ruth, her two children: Barbara Cavener of Chesapeake, VA and James of Palm Bay; six grandchildren and one great granddaughter. A Celebration of Life service will be held at First Baptist Church of Melbourne 14th at 4 PM. service will be held at Quail Spring Baptist Church, Oklahoma City, OK, 20th at 1 PM. Obituary: My father was my hero. He was also a war hero. At 19 years old he served his country in Vietnam. At war that created a lot of controversy, skepticism and was very unpopular. But that did not matter to him, he was proud to serve his county, and came back a decorated solider. My mom and dad met and fell in love. had a wonderful marriage for 41 years. did everything together. Many said they were attached at the hip. The past two and half years have been a very difficult time for my family. I lost my father 5 days ago and my beloved brother two and half years ago. I could have never imagined this happening to me, but it did. The two great loves and men in my life are gone forever. But I don't want to talk about my loss. I want to celebrate and cherish the time I had with them. My father was the strong silent type. He was the guy in a Clint Eastwood movie. A real man's man. He was an old school, hard working man with a lot of integrity. He would do the right thing even when no one was looking. My dad told it like it was. He was patient, loving and protective. My childhood memories were filled with lots of activities. We would go fishing, ice skating, hiking, skiing and 4 wheeling. He came to my soccer games and would drive me and my girlfriends into Manhattan on early mornings to attend art classes at Fashion Institute of Technology. We spent our summers at our beach house in Point Pleasant Beach at the Jersey Shore. My parent provided a very privileged lifestyle filled with lots of love. He taught me how to be kind, loving and gracious. My dad is a very special guy and that is why we are all here today, to honor his life and legacy. I will miss him terribly and so will my mom. The last 3 months I was given and extraordinary experience. I had the opportunity and good fortune to spend everyday with him. We talked, we laughed, we joked, we reminisced. We both knew he was dying. I remember one day toward the end we were sitting on the patio talking and I said, "Dad, I gotta go to work now". But that day he said "please just stay a little longer". He was never the type to ask for anything. I knew that day the end was approaching near. That day I did stay with him and I'm glad that I did. In the end life is about memories. It's about the quality of life not the length. I have epic memories with my father and I would never trade. I have two angels in heaven that I know are soo happy to be reunited and will watch over my mom and I. I love you dad! Thank you! Rest in peace.. |

Obituary: William Scott Rhinesmith was a caring, talented, charming and joyful son, brother, cousin, nephew and friend. Known to his loved ones as, Bucky, he was the laughter and light in every situation. Bucky enjoyed living life to the fullest, exploring his dreams, and being surrounded by his family and friends who he truly cherished. Scott is the son of William and Rosemarie Rhinesmith, and little brother to Dana Rhinesmith. The Rhinesmith family lived in Kinnelon, NJ, where Bucky was brought up in a home filled with love and laughter. His grandparents were Anna & Lonnie Rhinesmith and Philip & Rita Cortese. Being the great grandson he was, Bucky took care of his Sitto every step of the way, as he was a good hearted, loving boy. Bucky and his big sister Dana shared a bond greater than anyone else. Not only were they brother and sister, they were each others best friend. enjoyed spending every moment together, whether it be swimming in their grand pool or hanging out with their family, friends, or childhood super dog, Spanky, who he loved dearly. Bucky played football in school as a young child and enjoyed fishing, dirt bikes and dancing. He excelled in dance with the help of his sister and mother, and won two dance contests in Z Cavariccis. Bucky had many talents, but his true passion could be seen and tasted in the kitchen. From a young child he was fascinated by cooking and went on to hone his talents at the New England Culinary School in West Palm Beach, FL. Buck was well travelled. Some of his favorite destinations were: the Caribbean, Mexico, and Europe, but he especially loved spending his summers at the NJ shore, on Point Pleasant Beach with his extended family. Everyone who was blessed to have been a part of Buckys life will always remember the great William Scott (Bucky) Rhinesmith, he was just he coolest. The caring, talented and humorous Bucky, loved by all, passed away on 20, 2012 on his dear friends yacht. He is survived by his mother, father and sister and was laid to rest in the Gardens Mausoleum. |
