Obituary: George Reno 28, 1924 - 19, 2015. One of eight children and the 5th child of George and Pauline Hrenyo, George made his entrance into the world at Blainesburg, PA. His warmth of personality, infectious smile and gypsy nature took him on a path through a life full of unique experiences and incredible people. He was active in high school baseball and football where he sustained those early bonds of friendship throughout his life. He joined the navy in 1942 with ambitions to be a pilot. This adventure led him to the Gulf Coast where he was stationed at Pensacola Naval Air Station. As the war was winding down, his pilot training was put aside in favor of radio communications. his release from the Navy he returned north to live in his favorite big city of Chicago. He worked as a hairdresser for a while until he finally found the vocation that gave him the most joy in life. He worked with harness racing horses for which he performed all the duties of groom and assistant trainer. He spent the latter part of his years before retirement working with the harness racing community at various tracks in California. George continued to return to his beloved hills of southwestern Pennsylvania throughout his life. A big Steeler fan, Brownsville was always . He has spent the last year with his daughter at her home in Florida where he passed away quietly on morning as the result of recent heart problems. He is survived by his brother Frank Reno of Bradenton, FL and sister Pauline Martin of Brownsville, PA, one daughter, 4 sons, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The many he charmed and engaged with his happy childlike spirit and 'never met a stranger' persona are beyond count. Your race is run. Obituary: RENO, Frank Joseph, 87, of Tampa, Florida passed away on 22, 2015. Born in Jamaica, Queens , New York, he moved to the Tampa area in 1981. He proudly served in the United States Navy, serving in the Pacific and Japan at end of World War II and was honorably discharged. He was a Senior Vice President at Peninsula National Bank on Long Island, New York. He was President of the Exchange Club and a private financial advisor. In his leisure time he enjoyed playing golf, spending time with his family. He was a Yankees, Mets and Buckeye fan. Obituary: RENNON, Richard M., age 80, of Lakeland, FL passed away in Tampa on 25, 2016. Richard was born in Detroit, MI to Michael Frank and Herminia "Minnie" (Wolfe) Rennon on 10, 1936. He was of the Catholic faith and a United States Air Force veteran who served as a Jet and Missile Mechanic. He spent a lot of time at the Am Vets Post #32 in Lakeland. He was a drummer, a handyman, and a spoon player. Michael will be missed by many. He is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Jeanette R. Rennon and daughter, Jacqueline Rennon. Family who survive are son, Richard W. Rennon; daughters, Kim Rennon, Diane Harris and Misty Ester; sister, Marion; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Nichols, Robert Patterson, Christina Dillon, Adam Patterson, Christopher Patterson, Sarah Lawler, Tyrel J. Hein, Richard Donahue; and twelve great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life service with Military Honors will be held at 3:00 pm on , 10, 2016 at AMVETS POST #32, 1339 E. Obituary: Wendy Palmer Rennolds, 69 of Longwood, FL passed away on 18, 2017. She was born in Boston, Mass. On 28, 1947. Wendy retired from working for a local telephone company as a Call center Supervisor after 42 years of devoted service. She loved to sew, travel and was a very creative person. A passion of her life was bird watching and she also loved to collect nutcrackers, which she displayed every Christmas. Obituary: RENNINGER, Lydia Ann Loveless, was born 10, 1938 to Leland E and Grace Morris Loveless. She grew up on a farm in Northwestern Township near Palmyra, IL with two brothers, Richard Leland Loveless and James Robert Loveless, and five sisters, Ruth Elizabeth Madison (Lester), Peggy Joyce Loveless, Margaret Claussen (Jerry), Carol Jean Solomon (Vernon) and Junia Kay Loveless. Ann attended elementary school at a one-room school house, Landreth Grammar School, and at Modesto Grade School. She graduated from Northwestern High School in 1955 and Passavant Hospital School of in 1958. She went on to practice nursing in Jacksonville, IL for two years working at Jacksonville State Hospital before moving to Arcadia, Florida and then Tampa, Florida in 1960. As a nurse she was regarded as dedicated and knowledgeable. Nearly all of her professional career was spent at Tampa General Hospital rising from staff nurse to head nurse, and ultimately to Director of over her thirty year career . Outside of work, she was a member of Hyde Park United Methodist Church and spent a great deal of time volunteering in support of her boys extracurricular sporting activities. Retiring 1991, she devoted her later years helping to nurture and care for her six grandchildren as their Memaw. Her other hobbies included reading romance novels, sewing for the people she loved and watching Tampa Bay sports. She is survived and missed by her sons, Richard Leland Renninger (Melissa) and Russell Lance Renninger (Deni), six grandchildren: Kylee, Brayden, Cassidy, Chase, Tarren and Jaxson, five nephews and two nieces. Her parents and siblings passed before her. Friends and family are invited to gather from 5-7pm on , 19, at Brewer and Sons Tampa Chapel, 3328 S. Dale Mabry, Tampa 33629, with a memorial service for Ms. Renninger to follow at 7pm at the chapel. Flowers are welcome, but memorials may also be made in Lydias name to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116 - 7023, or made online at diabetes.org. Additional services will be scheduled and held at Oakhill in Palmyra, IL following her cremation. |
