Obituary: Phyllis A Ramsey 74 of Rockledge went to be with the Lord on , 2, 2015. She was born in Bevent, Wisconsin the daughter of Ernest P Modrzejewski and Helen Fritz Modrzejewski. Phyllis was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister and will be greatly missed be her family and friends. She is survived by her son Ralph Ramsey and daughter-in-law Myra Pope; her daughters, Donna Webb, Erin Ramsey; her sister, Eunice Schmitz; her granddaughter, Carrie Webb and great-grandson Jaymes Webb. Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband Buddy G Ramsey and her sister Edna Brandt. There will be a visitation from 10-11am on , 11 held at St Marys Catholic Church followed by a mass at 11am. Interment will be at Florida Memorial Gardens. Obituary: Ramsey, Pauline "Polly" D., 98 of St. Petersburg, FL died 10, 2017. Polly was preceded in death by husbands, Ralph E Ramsey and Millard Austin; brothers, Ralph , Clyde , and Zeb Kent; sisters, Mary Massey and Virginia Austin and grandson, Bradley Annis. She is survived by daughters, Peggy Cherry( Sylvester) and Linda Goldstein; stepson, Steven Ramsey (Mary); grandchildren, Rhonda Luker, Debbie Raynor, Bradley Annis (deceased), Donna MC Laren, Jeff Annis, David Raynor and Michelle Crenshaw; eighteen great Grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren and 13 nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly... Pauline (Polly} was born in Alexander, North Carolina in 1918. At some point in her young life they lived and she even attended school in Sevierville Tennessee. Polly remembers family travelling back to her home state of North Carolina with her family in a covered wagon. She grew up on a tobacco farm in Alexander, NC where she worked in the fields with Pappa Kent and siblings. Polly started a life with Millard Austin in and around Ashville NC. Peggy Jean, their first child was born 1941 followed by Linda Louise in 1943. lived in and around Asheville including at some point moving to Black Mountain. In 1956 they moved to St Petersburg, FL where they lived on Madeira Beach during the girls teenage years. Polly took a job as a Glass blower at GE Defense Plant where she worked and retired from after 25 years. In 1972 Polly married Ralph Ramsey and they spent 44 wonderful years together travelling to almost all the states. sometime would be gone for five months travelling in their home away from home RV. met many people and saw so many places and had many memories of all they had seen. didn't make it to Alaska or Hawaii as they joked they didn't think their RV would make it through the Oeean or the rough terrain of Alaska. On her 90th Birthday we decided to have a "Kent" Reunion on and around her birthday in . We enjoyed eight years of that celebration .How she loved seeing all the family that came from near and far to help her celebrate. She kept up with the best of them. She adored family and they adored her. Polly left this world a nicer and more gentle place. she had quite the sense of humor and we all enjoyed her antics. She will be so sorely missed by everyone that she touched. God bless our "Little" Mother, may she fly high with the angel and rejoice in reuniting with her family |

Obituary: Para Lee (Polly) Ramsey, 92, passed away , 3, 2017 in Orange Park, FL. She was born 18, 1925 to Arthur and Signora DeLoach in Corinth, MS. Polly loved her church and was a member of Shindler Road Baptist Church in Jacksonville, FL. She enjoyed watching the news especially Bill OReilly. Polly was a Florida Gator fan, playing cards and her favorite quarterback was Tom Brady from the Patriots. She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Marvin Ramsey Sr. and her son Marvin Ramsey Jr. Polly is survived by her daughters Marisa (Richard) Smith, Sharon Barber, 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park and is serving the family. A visitation for friends will be held on , 7, 2017 from 10:00am-11:00am in the chapel of the funeral home. Services to begin at 11:00am with Dr. John Green officiating. Interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park. |
