Obituary: Faye Rakestraw, 73, passed away unexpectedly from this life 22, 2010 to be in the loving arms of her Heavenly Father. Faye was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend that touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Hajjar (husband Mike), and four granddaughters: Renee Hajjar, Kristen Hajjar-Dawkins (Theo), Lexi Rakestraw and Linzy Rakestraw. Faye is also survived by her sister, Sharon Rutson (Rock), and her brother, Jim Bryant (Babs), and a host of nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Julian Rakestraw (2005) and her son, Mike Rakestraw (2009). Services will be held , 26, 2010 at Kernan Blvd. Baptist Church. Family will receive friends prior to the service from 1PM-2PM, with services beginning at 2PM. Obituary: Rakes, John H. Sr. 90, passed away on May 24, 2013 at his home in Port Richey. John was born in Swords Creek, Virginia and grew up in Maryland. He proudly served his country during WWII in the US Army and went on to work for the VA Hospitals for the next 40 years. He retired in Miami in 1985. In 1989, he moved with his wife to Port Richey where he enjoyed making things with wood, PVC and just about anything you could imagine. John is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Ruth; son Darrin (Maria); daughters, Gisele (Kenneth) Hamm, and Virginia Klein; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Obituary: Eileen Rakes, 78, of Port St. Lucie, Florida passed away 9, 2016. Born to George and Violet McMullen , Eileen was raised in South Brunswick, New Jersey and resided in Port St. Lucie for the past 28 years. Eileen has various jobs including working in South Brunswick as a cafeteria worker/bus driver as well as a factory worker for AMF for many years. Along with her husband Gene, she was once active in the Moose Lodge in Port St. Lucie. Eileen lived life to its fullest and had a smile for everyone. She was an avid traveler visiting many places. She loved music and dancing. Eileen loved and enjoyed her cats. She loved history of all types and enjoyed working in her yard with plants and flowers. Most cherished to Eileen was her family, especially her great granddaughter, Rowan. Eileen was preceded in death by her brother, Leroy McMullen; and grandson, Jason Schenck. Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Gene Rakes; children, Kip Schenck ( wife Mary), of Port St. Lucie, Florida, Kelly Crawford-Miller ( husband Dan), of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Charles Rake ( wife Rachelle), of Port St. Lucie, and Michael Rake ( wife Margaret), of New Egypt, New Jersey; along with many grandchildren and one great granddaughter, Rowan .
