Obituary: Doris Marie Mannon Quick of 123 Hickory Hill Road passed away at 12:13 p.m. 26, 2014 at her home. She was born in Glasgow, Virginia on 13, 1933, a daughter of the late Edna Arbutus Claytor and Everette E. Mannon. She was a graduate of Natural Bridge High School, Natural Bridge, Virginia and Phillips Business , Lynchburg, Virginia. She retired after a long career in the banking business, was a member of Shenandoah Heights Baptist Church, and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post 340. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Edwin Earl Mannon. Survivors include her loving and devoted husband; David Quick of 40 years, her daughter, Deborah Garris (Donald) of Gainesville, Virginia, her son, Timothy Burford (Rhonda) of Staunton, step-daughters; Dianna Yancey (Michael) of Bumpus, Sandra Goebel (Chris) of Elkhorn, Wisconsin, Karen Curry (Keith) of Fishersville; two sisters; Ola Mae Coffey and Juanita M. Rice (Robert), sixteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick s by the Rev. Dr. Paul LaPrevotte and Pastor Robert Yancey. Burial will follow in a Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Mark Curry, Michael Curry, Chase Garris, Chris Burford, Billy Childress, Chris Goebel and Robert Earl Rice. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick s. Obituary: Patricia Ann Quevedo, 74, a long-time resident of Springfield, VA, died , May 14th, 2016 in her home. Born on 2, 1942 in Moorestown, NJ, Pat spent her childhood there and moved to Virginia in 1968. She worked as a Secretary for 14 years at Fort Meyer, VA and retired after 31 years working for the Fairfax Child . Pat loved gardening and placing flower arrangements throughout her home. She had a love of crafting and photography. When she was with her family, she was her happiest. She is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years, Nelson Quevedo, her 4 children, Jane Murray of Front Royal, VA, Wendy Killen of Manhattan, NY, Rosie Bailey of Woodbridge, VA, and Teddy Quevedo of Fairfax, VA., 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. Pat is survived by many other friends and family. We will love, miss, and cherish our memories of you forever. There will be a memorial gathering at the Demaine , 5308 Backlick Road, Springfield, VA 22151 on , May 29th, between 2-4pm.
