Obituary: SCOTT QUEEN 1968-2015 Gastonia – Scott Queen, 47 – passed away. He was born in Gaston on 16, 1968 to Randy Gene and Roma Colvard Queen Scott was very strong family man – he loved his kids! He had the most uplifting personality; his smile would light up a room! Scott was a 1986 Hunter Huss graduate and worked for YRC – Freight Co., in Charlotte. He enjoyed fishing and playing golf with his dad. Scott will be missed by so many! Obituary: Rebecca Becky May Queen, age 69, of Gastonia, passed away on , 22, 2011 at Baptist Hospital, Winston-Salem, North Carolina with her loving family by her side. She was born in Gaston and was the daughter of the late George Harlen and Trilba Young May. Mrs. Queen retired as an Administrative Secretary in the Electrical Division of the City of Gastonia. She was a member of the Young At Heart Club of Calvary Baptist Church, former President of the Professional Secretary Association, very active member for the Gaston Cancer Society and a member of Salem Baptist Church. Mrs. Queen is survived by one daughter, Teresa Dickson of Gastonia; one son, Shannon Taylor and wife Anita of Kings Mountain; one sister, Faye Cook of Gastonia; five grandchildren, Tyler Dickson, Hannah Dickson, Emily Dickson, Josh Alford, Matthew Taylor; two great grandchildren, Eli Austin, Brianne Tolbert. The family will receive friends from 2:00 P. M. to 3:00 P. M. at Salem Baptist Church, 1534 Rolling Meadow Drive, Gastonia, North Carolina with a Memorial service to follow at 3:00 P. M. at Salem Baptist Church with Pastor Junior Morris officiating. Interment will be private and at a later date. Memorials may be made to: Cancer Services of Gaston , 306 South Columbia Street, Gastonia, North Carolina 28054. Obituary: RANDY QUEEN 1943-2015 Gastonia – Randy Gene Queen, 72 – passed away unexpectedly on 1, 2016 at his residence He was born in Gaston on 26, 1943 to the late William Gene and Edna Williams Queen. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Randy Scott Queen who died in of 2015 hey are now reunited and together again, where they are fishing in the Jordan River. Randy was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed! He was a member of Chapel Grove Baptist Church. He was so proud of his children and loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He retired from L& S Machine . Randy was an avid fisher and golfer. He loved his dog Lady his partner in crime.
