Obituary: Margaret Ann Queen, 48, of Brevard, passed away on 26, 2014. A native of Blackstock, SC, she was the daughter of Joe Glaze and Kathleen Waters Holden. Margaret was a very loving mother and a caring friend who will be greatly missed. Survivors she leaves behind include her children Kasey Queen Shook (Andrew), and Christopher Harold Orr; mother Kathleen Waters Holden; sisters Bonnie Jacobson, Lin Zizka and Erica Bohn and brother Paul Waters; and close personal friend Mitch King. A private memorial will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the family for funeral expenses. Obituary: Lee Andrew Queen, 80, of Asheville died unexpectedly on , 27, 2014. A native of Buncombe , he was the son the late Rev. Oscar C. Queen, Sr. and Della Smith Queen. He was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Taylor Nix and a brother, Oscar C. Queen, Jr. He is survived by one brother, Robert Queen of Asheville; two sisters, Aronia Brown of Asheville and Dorothy McGuinn of Weaverville. Additionally, he is survived by several nieces and nephews. Lee retired in 1994 as a boiler room operator from BASF (formerly American Enka). The family will receive friends on , 1st from 12:00PM-1:00PM at Moore at Forest Lawn. A Graveside Service will be held at 1:15PM on , 1st at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Candler with Rev. Billy Taylor and Rev. Charlie Sams officiating and Joe Perry providing vocal accompaniment. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to your home church or your favorite charity. |
