Obituary: SHARON BARBARA (JENSEN) PRING 1943 ~ 2010 Sharon passed away peacefully on 5th, 2010, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband, Bob, his children Robert Pring, Stephanie Klee, and Sonja Pulver, sister Roberta Keck, brother Gordon Jensen, her father Ralph Jensen, and their spouses Henry Klee, Skip Pulver, Peter Keck, and Janet Jensen. Her mother Rachel Jensen preceded her in death. Sharon is also survived by her grandchildren Nicole, Kaleb, Benjamin, and Daniel Klee, Kaylee and Dyland Pulver, niece Genevieve Coffelt, and nephews Brian and Brad Jensen, and Jason Keck. A viewing and visitation will be held , 10th from 5pm-8pm at Acheson and Graham Mortuary. Services will be , 11th, 4pm at Eden Lutheran Church, 4725 Brockton Avenue, Riverside. Obituary: MARION RANDOLPH (RANDY) PRINE, JR. MAY 10, 1930 - NOVEMBER 19, 2015 From his birth on May 10, 1930 until his death on 19, 2015, Marion Randolph (Randy) Prine, Jr. was never idle, pursuing a career that he loved as an airline pilot, raising a family of five with his wife of 65 years, volunteering at the San Diego Air & Space Museum, San Diego Junior Theatre, the Boy Scouts and restoring vintage Jaguar automobiles. Randy was born in Orlando, Florida. His mother died three days after he was born and he was raised by his grandparents Doler and John Prine in the charming little town of Jennings, Florida. graduating from High School in 1948, he joined the Navy, trained at San Diego and became an aviation mechanic at Patuxent River, Maryland. He met and married Marilyn Landmark in 1950. He proudly served during the Korean War, and after his discharge from the Navy, moved his wife and daughter Jerri Lee to Miami, Florida, where he attended aviation school and added a son John (Randy). Randy entered the Flight Engineer program at Eastern Airlines, flying for them until 1962 adding two more children Roger and Helen. He also flew with American Flyers in Ardmore, Oklahoma, and Lockheed Aircraft as a Test Flight Engineer in Atlanta, Georgia. Then, he heard about a little airline in San Diego, California, by the name of Pacific Southwest Airlines (PSA) that was hiring pilots, and off he went to California in of 1965! His wife and family, which had increased to four children, packed up and followed him. Daughter Julie soon joined the family. Randy flew for Pacific Southwest Airlines (PSA) for 23 years, until USAir acquired the company, flying with them until his retirement in 1992. In addition to his career, Randy was a dedicated volunteer through the years at San Diego Junior Theatre, a member of the San Diego Jaguar Club, a volunteer for the Boy Scouts of America and upon his retirement, a docent at the San Diego Air and Space Museum for 20 years. When he passed away, he was surrounded by his wife, Marilyn, his five children, Jerri Lee Palla, John Randolph, Roger Nelson, Helen Louise and Julie Ann Roland when he passed away. He leaves nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, three brothers and four sisters. All those who knew Randy remember him as a man who was true to himself and true to those he loved and cared for. His was a full life, a life well lived. On , 2, at 10 a.m., there will be a service for Randy at First United Methodist Church, 2111 Camino Del Rio South, San Diego, 92108. The burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Miramar National , 5795 Nobel Drive, San Diego, 92122. A reception to celebrate Randy's life will be held at the San Diego Air and Space Museum, 2001 Pan American Plaza, Balboa Park from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Randy's name are suggested to San Diego Air and Space Museum, San Diego Junior Theatre or First United Methodist Church. |
