Obituary: Virginia Beach- Myrtle H. Pittard passed away on 8, 2011 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born on 8, 1923 to the late Walker E. and Maude Henderson in Halifax , Virginia. She is predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Wallace T. Pittard. Mrs. Pittard was a member of Community United Methodist Church, the Order of Eastern Star Chapter 173, and the Lady Shrine. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Brenda Ritchie, Donna Shannon, and Deanie Pittard; two sister, Mildred Solomon, and Thelma Henderson; two grandchildren, Lee Smoot and Eve Copeland; and two great grandchild, Erik Diaz, and Melodee Todd. She is also survived by many other loving family and friends. A Visitation will be held on , 11, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Smith and Williams ; 4889 Princess Anne Rd., Virginia Beach, VA 23462. A Celebration of Life will be held on , 12, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
