Kathy leaves behind her precious family; daughter Stacy Brassington (Phill), son Robert M., and her grandchildren Tristan and Bodin Brassington, and Aleena Paczkoski, whom she adored. Obituary: George Nicholas Pacot, Jr., 90, of Lynchburg passed away , 4, 2015 at his residence. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Susie Bomar Pacot. Born in Charleston, WV, 31, 1924, he was a son of the late George Nicholas Pacot and Lois Fisher Pacot. He was retired from the Meade Corp. and was the former owner of the House of Frames and American Handicrafts. George proudly served his country during World War II in the United States Army. He participated in the landing at Utah Beach in Normandy on D-day. He was awarded the good conduct medal, Croix De Guerre and European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign ribbon with bronze arrowhead. He was also a member of Heritage United Methodist Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, George Nicholas Nick Pacot, III of Lynchburg and Jon Alexander Andy Pacot of Lantana, FL; two daughters, Glenda Newman Lilly and her husband Marcus of Forest and Martha Franklin of Rustburg; five grandchildren, Breon Pacot, Sky Pacot and his wife Lisa, Christopher Marcus Lilly, Michael Gilliam and his wife Christy and Matt Gilliam and his wife Sabrina and seven great grandchildren, Hannah Pacot, Murphy Pacot, Will Pacot, Sarah Elizabeth Pacot, Grayson Gilliam, Grant Gilliam and Garrett Gilliam. A service celebrating his life will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. , 7, 2015 at Heritage United Methodist Church with the Rev. Will Montgomery officiating. A luncheon reception will be held immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall. Graveside services will military honors by the American Legion Post 16 will be at 1:00 p.m. at Fort Hill Memorial Park following the reception. Whitten Timberlake Chapel is serving the Pacot family. Obituary: Larry French Packett, 69, returned to his heavenly home on 1, 2016, after bravely battling cancer. Larry was born in Richmond, VA to his parents, Mary Ellen and Arthur Packett. He received an Army Commendation Medal for his meritorious service in the Republic of Vietnam from 1971 to 1972. He received his J.D. from George Mason University School of Law in 1982. He married Gladys Packett in 1978. The Packetts lived in Arlington where Larry worked as a criminal defense attorney for over three decades. Larry is survived by his loving wife, Gladys; son, Jason; daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Raul Rodriguez; three siblings, Virginia Mae Barnes (John), Barbara Walker (William), John Packett (Shirley); and two grandchildren, Alex and Sofia Rodriguez. His sister Frances Wright (Gregory) predeceased him. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on , 6, 2016, at Murphy in Arlington, VA. A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on , 7, 2016, at Arlington Temple United Methodist Church. Burial service with military honors to follow at Columbia Gardens .
