Obituary: Dr. Bobby E. Pyle, age 81, of Clay was called home to be with the Lord on , 21, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Janice Spann Pyle; children James Aubrey Pyle (Pennie), Natasha Pyle Blair, and Laura Pyle Loggins (Dave); grandchildren James Ryan Pyle (Whitney), Trisha Ann Pyle, Christina Alexis Pyle, Aubrey Grace Blair, Noah Reginald Blair, Adrian Alexander Cruz Pyle, and Samuel Cruz Pyle; and his great-grandchildren William Hunter Pyle, Parker James Hoover, Lillian Christine Pyle, and James Ryan Pyle Jr.. He was predeceased by his son Bobby Eugene Pyle, Jr.. He served in the Naval Reserves and the US Army. He received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Alabama, Master of Science from Florida State University, Doctor of Philosophy in Physics from Auburn University, an Associate of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Masters of Arts in Education from UAB. Dr. Pyle was a research physicist at Southern Research Institute for 21 years and then taught high school Physics for 9 years. He loved God, his family, math and science, and Auburn University. Visitation will be held , 24, 2017 from 5:00 until 7:00 at Ridouts Trussville Chapel. The funeral service will be held , 25, 2017 at 1:00 at Ridouts Trussville Chapel. Interment will follow at Forest Hill . In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Auburn University Scholarship Fund. |

Obituary: Krandle Eugene Pylant, Sr., 58, of Wagarville, passed away 15, 2017 at his residence. He was born 4, 1959 to Melvin and Bonnie Pylant. An outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, Alabama football and spending as much time as possible with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his parents; his wife of 38 years, Jayne White Pylant; children, Krandle Pylant, Jr., Spring Pylant; grandchildren, Jayne White, Jeremiah White, Jake White, Ethan Cole Pylant; siblings, Donna (Wayne) Dover, Kelvin (Sherri) Pylant, Kris Pylant and numerous other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on , 18, 2017 at Cathedral of Praise Church in Wagarville with the Rev. Bob Younge officiating and Lathan directing. Obituary: PUYA, JAMES VINCENT James Vincent Puya, of Wellington, FL formerly of Birmingham, died on 16, 2011. Born on 5, 1919 in Bristol, RI, Mr. Puya was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Finley Puya; son, James Vincent Puya, Jr. and daughter, Lucy Nan Puya. He is survived by his daughter, Ruthann Retterbush (John) and grandson, William Charles Retterbush, III all of Wellington, Fl. He is also survived by his sister, Ida Kloner of Bristol, RI. A veteran of the U.S. Army during WWII where he was honorably discharged as a Sargent. He was married to Ruth Blair Finley in 1945. Mr. Puya retired from Liberty National Life Insurance in 1984 after 38 years. A former member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, Mr. Puya served on the Holy Name Society and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was also a member of Civitan Club, DPMA, National Association of Accountants, The Club, Altadena Country Club and the Roma Club. Mass will be 21, 2011 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church at 11:00. The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 at the church.
