Obituary: Margaret Monsen Peterson 1916 ~ 2015 Margaret Alice Monsen Peterson passed away peacefully 10, 2015 in Magna, UT. She was born 15, 1916 in Mount Pleasant, Utah to James Austin and Magnolia Larsen Monsen, and was the second oldest and last living survivor of six children. her family moved to Magna she attended Cyprus Jr. High and Cyprus High Schools, and on 12, 1933 she married Mono J. Peterson in Farmington, UT; he died in 1995. Margaret volunteered at the Pioneer Valley Hospital for over 37 years. She was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, and was active with the Magna Senior Citizens . She is survived by her children, Marian (Jerry, deceased) Bolton, Michael (Dorothy) Peterson, Jerry (Virginia) Peterson, and Robert (Judy) Peterson; and 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, parents, 5 siblings, 3 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. Obituary: Margaret Adell Bruner Peterson 1918-2011 Margaret Adell Bruner Peterson passed on to her Heavenly Father’s home and the loving arms of her husband on May 15, 2011. She was born in Enid, Montana on 20, 1918 to Alfred and Myrtle Bruner. She was raised by an Aunt on a farm in South Dakota after her mother passed when she was just 7 years old. As a teenager she went to live with her father and older brother. She went to Catholic School in Montana. She met her sweetheart, Raymond George Peterson in Great Falls, Montana and they were married on 12, 1937. were sealed for time and eternity in the Salt Lake LDS temple on 29, 1965. made their home in Provo, later moving to Orem. had six children: Donald Dale, Glenda Rae, Raymond Bruce, Helen Adell, Hope and Margaret Ann. She was very active in the church and held many positions and was a faithful visiting teacher for 40 years. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed, especially by her large family. She is survived by her children, Raymond Bruce (Margaret) Peterson, Helen (Eugene) Jackman, Hope Shibley, Margaret Ann Palmer, and daughter-in-law Linda, 37 Grandchildren, 120 Great Grandchildren, 92 Great-Great Grandchildren and 11 Great-Great-Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Raymond, her brother and sisters, her son Donald, Daughter and son-in-law Glenda and Willie Willson, and son-in-law Al Shibley. Services will be held , May 21, 2011 in the American Fork East Stake , 975 North 60 East, American Fork, Utah. Friends may call at the Walker Sanderson , 646 East 800 North, Orem, on evening, May 20, from 6 to 8 p.m. and at the stake center on morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to services. Obituary: Madeline M. Peterson, age 77, passed away peacefully at home on 6, 2015. She was born in her childhood home in Antimony, Utah and was one of 8 children born to Ivan & Avera Montague. Madeline was a fun-loving tomboy that helped her mother and father with everything she possibly could on the farm. When she was 17 she met and fell in love with her sweetheart, Boyd McIntosh (1932 - 1968), they married while he was home on furlough 29, 1954. She accompanied Boyd to California while he served in the Navy and they both returned to Utah in 1956. Together they were blessed with four children; Patty (Don) Thomas, Bountiful, Mike (Clair) McIntosh, Lubbock, Texas, Makay (Cindy) McIntosh, Layton, and Matthew (Stephanie) McIntosh, Farmington. In 1971 she married Larry J. Peterson (1933 - 2014) and became mom to Debra Peterson, Broomfield, Colorado, Mike (Tish) Peterson, West Jordan, and Susan (Jeff) Bobo, Mountain Green. Larry and Madeline were blessed with 43 years of a wonderful marriage, 18 beautiful grandchildren and 19 loving great grandchildren. Madeline was a beautiful woman with sparkling blue eyes and striking red hair and was lovingly called "Red" by family members and friends. She had many talents and enjoyed cooking, baking, painting, crafts, embroidery, cross stitching, porcelain and ceramics but her most treasured role was being a mother and grandmother. She would strike up a conversation with anyone and would leave everyone in her presence with a warm smile. She enjoyed spending time outdoors in the mountains but also enjoyed the time she spent traveling with her family to Hawaii, Mexico, Alaska, California, and Southern Utah. Madeline was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she served faithfully in many callings. She had a strong testimony of her Savior's love and was a humble servant and example for all that loved her. Madeline is survived by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and sisters, Maribeth Garber and Margery Riga, and many loving nieces and nephews. Madeline was preceded in death by first husband, Boyd, second husband, Larry, son-in-law, Dennis Ahleen, her parents and siblings, Maurine, Cecil, Calvin, Peggy and Carlos. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for the kind and loving services provided by Barton Creek and South Davis Hospice. Obituary: Mable Crafts Olson Peterson Mable Rose Crafts Olson Peterson died at the age of 92 on 28, 2006. She was born 27, 1914, in Deseret, Utah, the eleventh child of Bayard P. and Martha Elizabeth Hales Crafts. Mables mother died when she was two years old, and two loving maiden aunts, Mary Ann and Matilda Hales, took her into her grandparents home and raised and taught her to love and help those around her. In 1933, Mable married Arvin Olson, and they had one daughter Doris Darlene, who was the greatest joy of Mables life. moved to Provo in 1946, and Mable has lived in the same home ever since. her husband Arvin passed away she married Dale Peterson, and was later divorced. She attended Utah State University and Brigham Young University. She was employed at Utah Valley State for 30 years. retiring from there, she went to work for Utah Valley Builders, and retired at age 74. Mable loved her church, and was active in all aspects of Primary, School, MIA, and Relief Society, serving in many ward and stake positions in these organizations. She served in the Provo LDS Temple for 15 years, until health problems forced her to retire. She loved gardening, taking care of her yard, and was an excellent cook, to which many can attest. Even though she was limited these last years by debilitating arthritis, her mind was sharp and her spirit as willing as ever. Mable was an adopted grandmother to many loving families and counted their friendships as precious blessings. Mable loved people and her greatest desire was to help those around her. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Mable was preceded in death by her husband, her daughter, one grandson, eight brothers, two sisters, and her son-in-law. She is survived by two grandchildren, Deborah (Milio) Mascaro, Kelly Smith, three great-grandchildren, Jenny (Mitch) Hendricks, Julia Mascaro, Mascaro, one great-great-grandson, Dalton, two sisters-in-law, Fern Mast, Ilene Harris, and many nieces and nephews. services will be held , 1st, at 11 a.m. in the Walker Sanderson , 646 East 800 North, Orem, where friends may call from 9 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services.
