Obituary: Maxine Jane Johnson Partridge died on 27, 2009, at her home in Mesa, Arizona. She was born 18, 1922, in Spanish Fork, Utah to Oscar Matthew and Annie Estella Thomas Johnson. She married Ernest V. Partridge on 17, 1942, in the Salt Lake L.D.S. Temple. She was raised and educated in the Spanish Fork area and attended Brigham Young University. She was an excellent seamstress, cook, and overall homemaker. She always made sure everyone was taken care of and felt at home. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many callings at the ward and stake levels, including multiple Primary and Young Women (Mutual) Presidencies. She especially loved serving as a temple worker. She enjoyed associating with many good friends. Some of her activities included golfing, bowling, and the Tri-Thalian Club. She was always proud of her Icelandic and pioneer heritage, and actively participated in Icelandic activities for many years, including serving on the Utah Icelandic Association Board. She lived her life consistent with the industry, service, and love she learned from her pioneer forebearers. Most of all, she loved her family. She lovingly and selflessly served them in any way she could throughout her entire life. She always took an interest in them, celebrated their achievements, and shared in their heartaches. She is survived by her children, Marilyn Anne Lunt and Allen Ernest Partridge of Mesa, Arizona, J. Lynn (Marilee) Partridge of Spanish Fork, Utah, and David Clark (Cynthia) Partridge of Mesa, Arizona. She is also survived by her brother, Thomas Matt Johnson, and her sister Shirlene Brown, of Spanish Fork, Utah, 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and other family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her brothers Paul and Shirl Johnson, her sisters Blanche Johnson, Gladys Beckstrom, and Lola Ostler, her son-in-law Elburn D. Lunt, her daughter-in-law Jane Ann Hallam Partridge, and her grandson, Austin Clark Partridge. A memorial service will be held in Mesa, Arizona on , 1, 2009. A viewing will be held at Walker Mortuary in Spanish Fork, Utah on , 5, 2009, from 6-8 pm, and on from 10-11 am prior to the funeral. services will be held on , 6, 2009, at 11:00 am in the Spanish Fork Utah West Stake , 360 N. 650 W., in Spanish Fork. Obituary: Jean McIntire Partridge passed away peacefully , 13, 2015 at the age of 98. Jean was born 7, 1917 in Price, Utah. She was the daughter of William Mathis and Zelma McIntire. She attended the University of Utah where she met her husband Francis Marion Partridge. Jean returned to the U and completed a degree in Arts and Crafts. Jean taught Art in the Granite School District. She later earned her Special Education Certificate and taught Special Ed for 13 years. She served in many capacities in the LDS Church, many times sharing her art expertise. She created the bust of Edward Partridge for the monument in the Nauvoo . She was active for many years in the Mental Retardation Association of Utah. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank and her daughter Linda. She is survived by a daughter, Beth Merrill (Bruce), sons Paul Partridge (Cathy) and Robert Partridge (Kathy), 15 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Services will be held , 18th at 10 am at the Edgewood Ward, 3511 N. 180 E. in Provo, with a viewing that same day from 9-9:45 am at the ward chapel. Interment will be in the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. |

Obituary: Donald Earl Partridge, 77, of Spanish Fork passed away peacefully on 4, 2006 at Mountain View Hospital. He was born 20, 1929 in Payson, Utah to Lorin and Mildred Buckley Partridge. He later married his high school sweetheart, Erlenne Davis, on 9, 1949 in the Salt Lake Temple. He was a purple heart veteran in the Korean War. Don served in many various capacities in the LDS church, including missions as tour guides to Nauvoo, Chicago, Arizona, and Provo Temples. He was employed at Geneva Steel for 36 years. Some of Dons passions were playing softball, fishing, hunting, and helping his brother on his farm. He was a very compassionate man, always willing to help others. He is survived by his wife Erlenne and seven children, Stephen, Spanish Fork; Kent (Denise), Orem; Karen (Glade) Lewis, Benjamin; Mark, Sacramento, CA; Brian (Elaine), Provo; Hal, Magalia, CA; and Guy (Mariann), South Jordan. He is also survived by a sister, Barbara (David) Roper, Santaquin; 42 grandchildren, and 28 great grandchildren. services will be held on , 9, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at the Spanish Fork Stake , 1006 East 200 South, in Spanish Fork.
