Obituary: Lois Pitts The funeral for Lois Marie Pullum Pitts, 59, of Elkmont, will be at 2 p.m. at McConnell with Bro. Rick Craft officiating. Burial will be in Legg . Visitation will be from 6-9 tonight at the funeral home. Mrs. Pitts died , 28, 2010, at her home. She was born May 3, 1950, in Limestone to Dallas Pullum and Doris Elrod Pullum. She was a member of the Baptist faith. She worked for many years as a waitress at Old Gin House Barbecue. She was a happy, outgoing lady who was loved by many and will be missed dearly. The family would like to express special thanks to Valley View and Rehab in Madison, Hospice of Limestone and caregiver Natalie Collins. Survivors include her husband, Morris Pitts; two daughters, Sandy McKnight and Melinda McKnight Kimbrough, both of Elkmont; two sons, Wesley McKnight of Madison and Randy McKnight of Elkmont; a step-daughter, Melissa Glassco of Huntsville; grandchildren, Patrick and Christina Brewer, Jimmy Gatlin II and Dakota Kimbrough; step-grandchildren, Cody and Kristen Brooks; three sisters, Mary Newman of Athens, Nancy Simpson of Cherokee and Donna Ferguson of Courtland; three brothers, Bud Pullum of Town Creek, Stevie Pullum of Moulton and Eddie Pullum of Town Creek; and one great-grandchild, Avery Dale Gatlin. Obituary: Johnny William Pitts 22, 1960 \ 26, 2014 Johnny a resident of Tarrant, AL passed away at the age of 53. He was a loving husband and father and he would do for others before himself. He loved to spend time outdoors and to hunt and fish. Johnny was preceded in death by his father, William Roy Pitts and he is survived by his mother, Mary E. Obituary: Henry Lester Pitts died peacefully in Montgomery,AL on , 16, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Visitation will be held at Leak Memory Chapel on , 18, 2016 from 5:00PM-7:00PM. The celebration on Henrys life will be held at Leak Memory Chapel on , 19, 2016 at 10:00AM with burial immediately following the funeral service in Providence Church in Georgiana, Alabama. Pallbearers will be members of the Alcazar Shrine Temple; Lee Sims, Andy Compton, Gregg Moore, Bill Peavy, Bill Forshey, Jr., and Gene Mosely. Henry was born on May 7, 1933 in Selma, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmitt Pitts and Bernice McDaniel Pitts, and one sister, Evonne Reeves. Henry is survived by two brothers; Howard (Pat) and Harold (Richel) Pitts and one sister, Lois Harrison. He was also preceded in death by his wife; Inell Mosely Pitts, whom he was married to for 33 years. Of this marriage they raised their four surviving sons: Hank (Tracy), Steve (Gay), Danny, and Lester (Laura) Pitts. He is survived by seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He is also survived by his best friend and Lady, Geraldine Cadrette. He was an entrepreneur in the pipe line, welding, fabricating, and metal stamping industry for over 60 years. On 26, 1957, Henry received his degrees in the Mystic Lodge in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Henry became a Shriner on 9, 1976 and remained an active member of the Alcazar Shrine Temple until the time of his death. Henry was also an avid Christian serving God at Hope Hull United Methodist Church. He lived a simple life while teaching his family how to live by the Golden Rule and enjoy having fun. He enjoyed participating in all local Shrine events, especially the parades. He also enjoyed his family traditions and time spent on the Alabama River. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. We wish to send a special thank you to his wonderful Best Friend and Lady, Geraldine Cadrette whom is a chosen member of our family and we attribute her to saving Henrys life while loving and caring for him.
