Obituary: Roberta Nadine (Coots) Procsal Born 9th 1948, Died 26th 2015 A rosary will be held on , 31 at 7 pm at St. Joseph's and a funeral service will be held , 1 at 1:30pm, also at St. Joseph's. Nadine's ashes will be interned at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Richardson, Texas. Roberta Nadine Coots was born to Gerald and Ethel (Holcomb) Coots in Tulia, Texas. She is survived by her husband of 45 years Bob, daughter Penney Matos, son Robert Procsal Jr., brother William Coots, nieces Charlotte Coots and Annalisa Horan, nephews William Coots Jr., James Coots and Torent Edminster and granddaughters Audrey Procsal, Jayda Racca, Sofia Matos and Vivian Matos. She was preceded in death by her parents Gerald Coots, Ethel Holcomb Fowler and Evelyn Coots and sister Candace Edminster. • Nadine was one of the most loving people and loved her husband, children and grandchildren very much. • Daughter Penney Matos, Husband David Matos with daughters Sofia Matos and Vivian Matos • Son Robert Jr. Procsal, wife Amy Racca-Procsal with daughters Audrey Procsal and Jayda Racca • When she was born, her brother William started calling her Adine, thus we all know her as Nadine. • She was raised Baptist growing up on a farm 10 miles north of Tulia, Texas. • high school, she spent the work week at her job in Tulia and weekends in Amarillo with some of her girl friends. During this time Nadine met her husband, Bob, while stopped at a light on Polk Street in Amarillo, where he was stationed at the Air Base. Bob completed his military commitment, Bob and Nadine were engaged. Bob then headed back to San Diego, where he received his first college degree. paying off her bills, Nadine followed him in 1969 and stayed with his sister, Theresa, for the few months prior to their wedding. • Nadine converted to Catholicism before their wedding on 12, 1969. She loved the Catholic traditions, ceremony and thought process. She worked as a Title Officer, while putting Bob through college, until their first born child, Penney, came along in 1974 followed by their son, Robert Jr. (Rob) in 1976. In 1976, the family packed up and moved to Plano, Texas then to their current home in Richardson in 1977. Shortly after, the family began attending St. Joseph Catholic Church. • Nadine stayed home with the children when they were young. She was a fabulous mom, encouraging her children to do their best and being an active participant in their lives including 10 years as a Girl Scout co-leader. both children were in elementary school full time she volunteered at Yale Elementary and received several volunteer awards as well as a life time membership to the PTA. • At this time she started work on her accounting degree and, after completing it, began working part time which allowed her to be home when the children were home. As the children moved on to junior high and high school she switched to working full time. • Nadine was an assistant Girl Scout leader for years urging her daughter Penney to get her Gold award, which she did. Nadine took the Girl Scouts on many campouts and trips allowing them to begin experiencing the wonders of Christs creation. • Nadine passed the test to become an Enrolled Agent, certified by the IRS. She was qualified to do taxes for any state. • Nadine enjoyed cooking and trying new recipes on dinner guests. Almost everything she cooked was delicious including the new recipes. She hosted a mystery dinner as a gift for St. Joseph Womens Guild for several years and always enjoyed the help for her fellow Womens Guild friends and the excitement of the participants at the mystery dinner. • She spent many years on the Parish Council at St. Joseph Church and was asked to start up the Stewardship Committee which she chaired for many years. • Nadine began playing volleyball at St. Josephs the spring of 1980 and played almost every season. She loved playing volleyball and talking with her friends. • Nadine was a Eucharistic Minister for years and greatly enjoyed presenting the Body and Blood of Christ to the parishioners. • While in her 40s Nadine told Bob that she had never been east of the Mississippi River so their travels began. He took her to New Orleans for a week end prior to a convention he was attending; according to her this didn really count as being east of the Mississippi. The next year they visited Boston, New Hampshire and Maine. • For her 50th birthday they went to Southern Germany (Bavaria region), Austria and Switzerland, spending her 50th birthday in Lucerne, Switzerland with a trip to the top of Mt. Titus where Bob threw a snow ball at her. • In 2009, she quit her full-time office job and opened her own bookkeeping service allowing her to travel more while keeping her bookkeeping and tax work going, which she loved to do. She turned in her resignation the 1st of and gave a 30 day notice, she reminded them she was on vacation the last two weeks of and would be back her last day of work. • Nadine took walks whenever she could to make sure she was in shape for the walking and hiking on her trips. She enjoyed snorkeling when she went to Hawaii and the Caribbean. She loved animals of all kinds, sea or land, even the human kind. • Over the last 15 years she has had the fortune of exploring the world that GOD created with its many wonders. She and Bob have traveled to over 30 countries including most of the US, central America, Bahamas, St. Thomas, China, most of Europe, the UK including Scotland and Ireland, southern and eastern Africa, continued... |

Obituary: Tommie Louise (Vinson) Prock, age 81, a former resident of Abilene, Texas and a current resident with her son, Bill Prock, of Quinlan, Texas was born 11, 1930 in Tarzan, Texas and entered eternal life on afternoon, May 27, 2011. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. , 1, 2011, in Potosi with James Crosthwait officiating, directed by Elliott-Hamil , 542 Hickory. The family will receive friends at a visitation 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Tommie worked for The Hobby Shop in Abilene, Texas for 25 plus years in assisting with customer needs in ceramics and other hobby needs. She was a very gifted person when it came to crafts of any kind. Tommie loved to crochet, knit, cross stitch, paint porcelain dolls, fishing, and working Sudoku puzzles. She was a member of Elmcrest Baptist Church. Tommie was married to Walter Raymond Prock, Sr. on 3, 1953. She had four sons, Walter Raymond Prock, Jr., Mike Prock, Andrew Prock, and Bill Dow Prock. Tommies husband, Walter Raymond Prock, Sr., preceded her in death on 25, 2001. Her parents and a brother also preceded her in death. Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Walter and Susan Prock of Abilene, Texas, Mike Prock of Oregon, Bill and Marolyn Prock of Quinlan, Texas, and Andy and Sammie Prock of Abilene, Texas; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lawanda Spots of York, Pennsylvania.
