Obituary: Victor Prassel, Jr., age 84, passed away on , 23, 2011, in San Antonio. He was born May 10, 1927 in San Antonio to Victor and Eda Prassel. Following graduation from Texas Military Institute in 1944, he received his Bachelor of Architecture Degree from Texas A&M and his Master of Architecture from the University of Texas. Victor proudly served his country during World War II in the U.S. Maritime Service, and in Korea and Vietnam in the U.S. Air Force. Victor worked for his father in Victor Prassel Construction until 1955 when he was employed as an Instructor in the Department of Architecture at the University of Colorado. The following school year he was Assistant Professor of Architecture at North Dakota State University. He was recalled to active duty as a 1st Lt and augmented into the Air Force. Victor obtained a humanitarian discharge (Captain) in 1965. He served as Architect GS-12, Group Leader, Tinker AFB; Architect GS-13 HQ Pacific Air Forces; Architect GS-13 HQ USAF Regional Civil Engineer, Central Region until his retirement. Victor was a registered architect in Kansas and a registered engineer in Massachusetts and California. His memberships included Distinguished Toastmaster (Garland Toastmasters, Garland, Texas); American Legion Post No. 518, Dallas, TX; Dallas Forestry Committee; Dallas Building Committee, Far East Society of Architects and Engineers. He was also a member of various Masonic organizations including, Triune Lodge No. 15, A.F.&A.M., Master, Masonic Year 2007-2008; Wichita Falls 202 R.A.M.; Wichita Falls 140 R.&S.M., Wichita Falls Commandery No. 59; Ft. Sam Houston Chapter #17, National Sojourner (Sheppard Sojourners, President 1961); inducted into Heroes of 76, John Cannon Camp, Randolph AFB, 1956. Victor is survived by his wife, Nell Hudson Koch Prassel; daughters, Amy Schoolfield and husband Dr. Robert Schoolfield, Laura Mork and husband Charles Mork; grandchildren, John, Matthew, Emily and Anna Schoolfield, and Elisa Mork and Katy Janicek; brother, Fred Prassel and wife Barbara; nieces, Charlotte FitzGerald and Edie Grimes; and nephew, Victor B. Obituary: Nat V. Prassel, born 18, 1917, son of Frank and Ida Prassel, baptized and confirmed at St. Johns Lutheran church and became president of the Lutheran league. He owned and operated Prassels Drug stores and became president of San Antonio Drug Association. the passing of his Dad, he went into real estate and certified appraiser, his true love and soon opened Prassels Farm and Ranch. He was an active member of the San Antonio Kiwanis club and soon became Lieutenant Govenor of the Kiwanis fifth division. He served on Judge Ball condemnation court and the Bexar appraisal board. He was elected president of the San Antonio stock show & rodeo in 1982 through 1984, where he set up a scholarship fund in 1983. He was inducted into the San Antonio stock show hall of fame in 2003. Proceeding him in death are his parents, Frank and Ida Prassel; sister, Dorothy Prassel Bieglar; brother, Frank Prassel; and sister, Anna Prassel Reed. He is survived by his wife, Winona Prassel; four children, Natlie Prassel Kaminski and husband, Jim, Nat V. Prassel Jr. and wife, Mariann, Martha Prassel Pruski and husband, Norman, and Mary Jane Prassel Kaminski and husband, Ron. He has four grandchildren, Steven Prassel and wife Michelle, Matthew Kaminski and wife Dee, Monica Kaminski and Norma Pruski; three great grandchildren, Taylor Renae and Tyler Nathaniel Prassel and Austin Pierce Kaminski; one step grandson, Jeff Kaminski and wife Lauri; two great grand children, Katrina and Abby. Anna Ruth Prassel, 86, was peacefully ushered into Heaven on 13, 2009, absent from the body she is present with the Lord. Obituary: Eugene S. Prashner, died 11, 2013. Born 6, 1920, in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. Graduated from Corpus Christi High School, the University of Texas, and St. Marys Law School. Served in the U. S. Army Air Corps and was in the Philippine Islands when World War II ended. He flew to Tokyo one month later as part of the Army of Occupation. He became an attorney at age 49 and enjoyed practicing law for the rest of his life. Survived by his wife of 69 years, Josephine, San Antonio; children, Ellen Azose, Seattle; Heleri Ziou, San Antonio; Judge Dan Prashner and wife, Heather Prashner, M.D., Austin; grandchildren Rebecca Prashner, Seattle; Leslie Azose and husband, Professor Alex Jassen, and his great-grandchildren, Lila and David Jassen, New York City. Preceded in death by his beloved son-in-law, David R. Azose. Gene enjoyed traveling to all fifty states and visiting family in Great Britain and Israel. He loved reading, classical music, fast cars, long driving trips, barbequing a fine brisket, and telling war stories, legal and actual. But, most of all, he loved his family, his Jewish faith, and his many dogs, especially his beloved Red, with whom we trust he is reunited.
