Obituary: Henry Martinez Pineda passed away on , 25, 2014 in his hometown of Austin, Texas at the age of 66. John Albert Pineda and Guadalupe Martinez Pineda welcomed Henry, their first son, on 13, 1948 in Austin, Texas. Henry married Lucille Ann Vasquez, his wife of forty four years, at Cristo Rey Catholic Church on 2, 1970. For over twenty years Henry was a dedicated worker of Kmart. In the remaining years of life, Henry worked as an insurance agent before retiring in 2009. Henry is survived by his immediate family of four: his wife Lucille, his son Henry Lee, and his two daughters Rosalie and Stephanie. Henry is also survived by his loving sisters and brothers: Olga, Helena (Dina), Maria (Chicky), Manuel and Alfred. Henry was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Charlie, Martin, and John. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., , 29, 2014 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks with a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. The Rosary will be recited at Adams on , 13th, 2015 at 7:00p.m. Mrs. Pineda was born 4, 1929, in Lockhart, TX to Miguel and Francisca (Sandoval) Ramos. She married Ancelmo Pineda on 24, 1959, they have celebrated over 55 wonderful years together until his death on 28, 2007. Mrs. Pineda was a lifelong member to the Catholic Church; she was a devoted, loving and faithful wife. She was a caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In her younger years she enjoyed cooking, cleaning, and caring for her kids. Mrs. Pineda enjoyed watching TV shows, soap operas, game shows, being involved in activities at the nursing home, but most of all making friends. She also loved her dolls, Daisy, and Tootsie. Obituary: Eloiza Garcia Pineda, 64, was called home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on 8, 2014 after a long courageous battle with cancer. Eloiza was born on 8, 1949 at her home at 4209 Molina, Corpus Christi, Texas to Francisco D. and Olivia C. Garcia. She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother (Manuel), two sisters (Maria Olivia and Duvelsa) and two nephews (Austin Ortiz and David Salazar Jr.). She gave birth to three children, Ruben (Cecilia) Garcia Sr., Celestino (Monica) Pantoja Jr., and Melissa (Alejandro Aleman) Pantoja-Asevedo. She is survived by nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Eloiza is also survived by her siblings, Herminia (Rene) Saenz, Sylvia (Evaristo) Reyes, Lydia Moreno, Elodia Rodriguez, Frances Flores, Olivia (Gabriel) Trevino, Manuel (Alma) Garcia, Dubelza Garcia (Javier Escareno), Nelda Salazar, Elda Soriano, Ruben (Cecilia) Garcia, Sr. and many nieces, nephews and cousins whom she loved a lot. Eloiza worked as a skilled and dedicated waitress mainly at Land and Sea and Café Maya. She was known for the art of conversation, the gift of gab, and her sense of humor. Eloiza had a passion for music by Little Joe y La Familia. She loved to go dancing, attend family events, and being with her friends. Baking was also her specialty. How many social gatherings enjoyed her generous and delicious pineapple upside down cakes and sand tart cookies? She lived her life boldly, loving much along the way, and laughing often. The family wishes to express their profound gratitude to her oncologist, Dr. Garrett, dedicated staff at M.D. Anderson Cancer , the nurses and staff at Nurses on Wheels Hospice, Monsignor Marcos Martinez, Our Lady of Pilar Prayer Group and Guadalupanas and her lifelong friend, Rosie Alvarez who never left her sight through her journey. He enjoyed working on cars, music, dancing, and family gatherings. He loved gardening, out-door recreation , spending time with his children, making pancakes for his beloved grandchildren, and tending to his beloved wife, Mercedes.
