Obituary: Grace "Gay" Pike, 91, passed away , Feb. 22, 2016. Grace was born Jan. 15, 1925, in Northampton, England, to Amy and George Penn. She was preceded in death by James, her husband of 59 years, who she met while he was serving overseas in the Army Air Corps. Grace was a British war bride who came to America via passage on the Queen Mary in 1946. She became an adopted Texan and with her husband and children made the Fort Worth area her home for 70 years. She was a beloved mother and housewife, and a loving grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. She was cherished for her winning smile, quick wit, deep compassion, loyalty to friends, and especially her devotion to family. She was a member of Church of England and St. Paul Presbyterian Church. Survivors: Daughters, Marilyn, Linda and Debbie (Barry); sons, Jim (Sherry) and Larry; grandchildren, Stacie (Don), Janet (Howard), Beth (Kandice), J.C., Brian (Laura), Madison, Matt (Morgan); six great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and sisters-in-law, Claudette and Sue. Obituary: Ernest Philip Pike was born 28, 1950 in Sherman, Texas. Philip was the son of Ernest Everett Pike and Anna Barbara Odonnell Pike. He married Mary Katherine Grace on 29, 1977. He was a 1969 graduate of Savoy High School. graduating at Savoy he entered the United States Navy and served in Viet Nam as a medic. Philip was a nurse assistant at the Bonham Veterans Hospital and then was a fireman and E.M.T. for the Sherman Fire Department for 14 years and after working there he worked for Mueller Construction and Monitor. Philip was always willing to help and do for others even after his illness. He was a friend and neighbor to everyone. a lengthy illness he passed away 20, 2015 at Texoma Medical . A visitation for family and friends will be on , 23, 2015 from 7:00PM until 8:00PM at Mullican-Little in Bells/Savoy, Texas. His wife Mary Katherine Pike of Savoy, son Shanon Dale Christopher of Sherman, daughter Christian Pike of Van Alstyne and several nieces and nephews survive Philip.
