Obituary: Billy Mac Peacock of Farmers Branch, Texas, went to be with the lord on 12, 2015. Billy was born on 2, 1939 to Bud and Jaycle (White) Peacock in Corsicana, Texas. Billy served as an in-flight mechanic for the United States Air Force. Soon after joining the Air Force, Billy married his soul mate, wife Patsy Diane (Smirl) Peacock on 11, 1960 in Dallas, Texas. Billy and Patsy had two sons, Scott Allen and Tobin Dale Peacock. Billy hired on with the Dallas Fire Department in 1964 where he continued to serve the public for the next 25 years. He retired as a lieutenant riding engine 43 one of the top ten busiest engines in the United States in the mid-1980s. He graduated from Carrollton High School and later earned an associates degree in Fire Science. Billy was the epitome of a husband, father, and grandfather. He was a man that you couldn forget even if you tried. He had a heart of gold that was open to anyone and everyone around him. Billy spent his free time snuggling with grandbabies, hunting anything that moved, and always trying to catch a fish bigger than whoever was sitting next to him. He was a trusted man until he told a hunting story or had his eyes on your fishing spot. He always had some way of tinkering with things until they were fixed and always let you know if you pushed or punched a button or control too hard or too many times. He leaves his family and friends with enough memories to last a life time and then some. From the many bowls of popcorn consumed to the countless games of wahoo played at the dining room table in his home, the warmth in those moments are sure to last. He was a man that will always be remembered, and we are all truly blessed to have had the opportunity to be a part of his life. His love for life and family was a love so strong that it will never be forgotten. For his enumerable gifts and aid we believe Christ would say JOB WELL DONE. Billy is survived by his wife Patsy of nearly 56 years, his two sons and their wives, Scott and Traci, and Toby and Michelle. He is also survived by his six grandchildren: Brittni, her husband Jared, Austen, Chelsea, Brennan Mac, Cody and Whittli, and four great grandchildren Brynlee, Kelon, Jayli, and Brantley Mac. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Bobby Don and Gary Alton Peacock. The family will receive friends at Rhoton in Carrollton, Texas, , 17th from 6 pm to 8 pm. Services will be held at Royal Haven Baptist Church, in Farmers Branch, Texas on , 18th at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at private family cemetery South of Windom, TX on FM 1743, one mile North of FM 1550.
