Obituary: Bernice L. Pavlock, 91, of Rosenberg, Texas passed away on 7, 2016 in Rosenberg. She was born on 11, 1924 in Needville, Texas to Charles and Emma (Oberhoff) Stegemiller. She was a long-time member of St. Johns United Church of Christ in Rosenberg. Bernice worked at the Guided Child for many years. Bernice enjoyed playing Bingo and taking trips to Coushatta. When she was able, she loved working in her yard and working crossword puzzles and word searches. This loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend will be missed. In addition to her parents, Bernice is preceded in death by her husband, Felix Pavlock; her son, Larry Pavlock, and her sister, Lillie Mae Hartman. Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Hippler and husband, James; her daughter-in-law, Mary Pavlock; her brother, Charles Stegemiller and wife, Carolyn; her sister-in-law, Helen Schultz and husband, Jerry Suchma; grandchildren, David Pavlock and wife, Shelley and Crystal Brock and husband, Doug; great grandchildren, Gretchen and Griffin Pavlock and Landon and Caden Brock; along with numerous extended family and friends. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., , 10, 2016 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn in Rosenberg. The service will be held at 10:00 a.m., , 11, 2016 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn in Rosenberg with Reverend Daniel Haas officiating. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. She liked to sew, knit, and crochet gifts for her family. She enjoyed cooking and baking. She was a member of the American Legion and Ladies Auxiliary. Mary is survived by four sons; Albert Pavlicek, Jr., and his wife, Carolyn of Hallettsville, Texas, Joe Pavlicek of Port OConnor, Texas, David Pavlicek and his wife, Becky of Flatonia, Texas, Dennis Pavlicek and his wife, Susan of Victoria, Texas, three daughters; Betty Sobotik and her husband, Norbert of Hallettsville, Texas, Charlene Raabe and her husband Jerome of Moulton, Texas, Eunice Raabe of Rosenberg, Texas, one daughter-in-law; Elaine Pavlicek of Moulton, Texas, one sister; Viola Kresta of San Antonio, Texas, twenty-three grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, fifteen great-great-grandchildren, one great-great-great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. Obituary: Martha Pavlas Pavlicek, age 98, of Moulton Texas passed away 8th, 2015.She was born 27th, 1917 in Moulton to the late Willie J. and Albina Darilek Pavlas. She attended country school in Komensky graduating as salutatorian. Martha married Alfons Pavlicek in Praha, Texas in 1939. Together they operated an open air dance pavilion called Cotton Grove - located near Moulton- in the late 40s and early 50s. moved to Victoria for many years, returning to Moulton in 1970.She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, stepmother Anna Bohuslav Pavlas and brother George Pavlas of Moulton. She is survived by her daughter Joyce (Leslie) Beyer of Needville; son Jerry (Linda) Pavlicek of Victoria; brother Willie Pavlas of Schulenburg; sister-in-laws Vlasta Pavlas and Lexie Pavlicek of Moulton. Other survivors include her grandchildren: Les Beyer of Needville, Troy (Shari) Tait of West Columbia, Celeste (Aubrey) Stewart of Grapevine, and Melinda (Neal) Barkhurst of Rockport. Her great-grandchildren: Aaron (Sheridan) Weiser of Lampasas, Lauren Lumert of Grapevine, Sarah Weiser of Rockport and step great -grandchildren Brittney Foster of Houston and Miranda Stewart of Florida. She has one great-great-grand-child -Canton Weiser of Lampasas, and numerous nieces and nephews. Martha had a great love for anything Czech - polka music, food and refreshments. She especially liked and was very involved with helping and planning family reunions and her beloved Komensky School reunions. Special thanks to her neighbor Minnie Lee Fishbeck who helped in so many ways over the years and Ken Kolar Jr and his mother Lillian who were like family to her . He was a retired truck driver and a member of the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Mr. Pavlicek is preceded in death by parents, wife-Dorothy Doehring Pavlicek, 3 brothers and 1 sister. He is survived by 1 son-Jim Pavlicek of Ellinger, 1 daughter -Margie Genzer and husband George of El Campo, 9 grand children and 12 great grand children. Visitation will start at 4:00 pm , 20, 2010 at Buffington in Shiner. Rosary will be held , 21, 2010 at 10:30 am at the St. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church followed by the service at 11:00 am with Rev. Bob Knippenberg officiating.
