Obituary: ARTHUR PARTIDA, 4, of Lake Jackson TX passed away , 30th after a 146 day battle with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG). Arthur was born in Galveston, Texas to Arthur and Grace Partida on 20th 2010. Arthur was a smart, bright, and lovable little boy that got called to heaven too soon. He loved playing with his cars, watching his favorite movies, fishing, and playing football. Baby Arthur wanted to be a Police Officer when he grew up. On 26th, 2014 Arthur was granted the wish to be a police officer with Hitchcok Police Department. He courageously endured 6 continuous weeks of radiation and chemotherapy. He was truly a brave hero, and has touched the lives and hearts of many. Arthur is survived by his parents, Arthur and Grace Partida, his siblings, Leslee, Miia, Michael, Gizelle; his grandparents John and Maria Howell, Blanca Levario and Joe Munoz; his aunts Cecilia Munoz, Savanna Seymour, Genesis Levario, Dennis Quintero, Ashley Howel, Monica Elam, Rosario Santos; his uncles Joe Munoz, Luis Quintero, Tim Elam, Andres Navarrete, Jose Mata, Frank Partida, Manuel Partida; cousins Karina Salas, Janice Salas, Sireniti Ramos, Siarrah Gonzales, and Daylein Navarrete. His wonderful Spirit, Joy, and life was celebrated at Family Life Church in Lake Jackson, and he was laid to rest at Restwood Memorial Park in Clute. |

Obituary: Sun rose on Michael London Parther on 18, 1968 to Ella Mae and Will C Parther Jr in Ft Bennings, GA. He attended Ft Sam Houston Elementary, Kirby Elementary, Kirby Junior High School and graduated from Judson High School in 1987(Whoop Whoop Rocket Pride). Michael was an example to many; he did not let his disability hold him back. He participated in Special Olympics where he was awarded medals in Track & Field, bowling, receiving trophies and doing community service. He accepted Christ at an early age at Wright Grove Missionary B/C under the leadership of Pastor Ford in Houston, TX. When the family moved to San Antonio, TX he joined Zion Star Missionary B/C under the leadership of Pastor O. L. McNary, later he joined Joshua B/C under the leadership of Pastor Clifton Phillips where he served faithfully as an Usher and sang in the Male Chorus until his health began to fail. In his last years he joined Resurrection B/C under the leadership of Pastor Ray D. Brown Sr. Although Michael battled with health issues from birth he was strong in will and faith. He was an inspiration to all and showed what faith is all about. He had a special relationship with God and did not mind letting his light shine through song and prayer. His favorite song was "l Love To Praise Him". Sun set on , 24, 2015 when God decided that Michael had fought a good fight and finished his course and it was time for him to rest. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ella Mae Parther and sister Kam Jacobs.
