Obituary: Tyler Partain, 44 of Livingston, TX formerly of Richmond, TX passed away on May 15, 2015. Tyler was born on 7, 1970 in Lubbock, TX. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Ullrich, his parents , Joe and Laura Partain, sons, Tyler Christian and Benjamin Partain, stepdaughters Melanie and Micaela Bolfing, his brothers Adrian and Banner Partain, stepsister Jamie Hatzakorzian, and stepmother Sandy Partain Smith. He was predeceased by his mother Jane Davidson Partain. Tyler had a passion for life. He loved fishing and being a musician. He loved to sing, play the drums and the guitar, and loved making music. Though a salesman by profession, that was just his way of furthering his enjoyment of life. Throughout his life, Tyler was accepting of all, never a stranger to anyone, and a friend to everyone. Obituary: Robert (Bob) Arthur Partain, age 78, passed away , 29, 2014. He was born on 3, 1936 in Houston, Texas to the late J. Alfred Partain and Ruth Fern Skinner Partain. He is survived by his wife, Annette Johnson Partain; daughter, Charlotte Kelso (Curtis) of Cave Creek, Arizona; three grandsons, Sean, Rhys and Quinn Kelso; brother, Jack Partain (Jeannie Beard, deceased) of Fredericksburg, Virginia and children, Joe and Jim and their families; sister, Carol Ann Beard (Donnie) of Port Lavaca, and their children, Robbie, Nancy and Sherilyn and their families. Robert graduated from Palacios High School and the University of Texas. working in the family business, Partain Food Market in Palacios, he decided to begin his banking career at City State Bank in Palacios, Texas. Bob was a founding Board Member and held the position of President of Citizens National Bank in Victoria for over 20 years and retired from Citizens National Bank in 1995. Bob was especially fond of the Citizens National Bank directors and his Palacios High School classmates. His interest in the business community covered many years resulting in numerous friends and business associates. The working environment was a pleasure to him as well as serving on boards of organizations including Palacios Lions Club, the Palacios Volunteer Fire Department, Houston Livestock Show, Victoria Rotary Club, Salvation Army, Citizens Medical , United Way, Regional Airport and University of Texas Exes. Bobs zest for life involved being with his family and friends. He had a cheerful disposition and loved to joke. Bob never knew a stranger and made all feel welcome. Bob liked to follow the Houston Astros baseball team and really enjoyed cheering on his very favorite, any of the Texas Longhorn sports teams. He will be remembered as a gentlemen, fun-loving and caring person. He was preceded in death by his parents and infant sister, Melba Ruth Partain. Obituary: Marjory Jean Partain, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother, passed away May 28, 2004 at the age 92. She was devoted to her family, her many friends and relatives, and her Roman Catholic faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry H. and Mabel Hay; her husband, George S. Partain, owner and operator of PartainÂs Pharmacy in San Antonio; and her eldest daughter, Marjory Jean Frazier. Otherwise known as ÂNonie to all, she is survived by daughter, Dorothy P. OÂConnor of Houston, Texas and daughter, Carolyn Elizabeth Lecocke and her husband, Frank of San Antonio; in addition to 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren and many other nieces, nephews and relatives. Long a devotee to the arts and music, she is fondly remembered for her love of playing the piano and violin, which she often did for the amusement and entertainment of the younger members of the family when they visited. She studied with Brooks Morris, Professor of Music at Ft. WorthÂs TCU. A highlight of her musical endeavors, she played violin with the Wichita Falls, Texas Symphony Orchestra and later with the school orchestra at Our Lady of the Lake . She was a Charter member of the San Antonio Chamber Music Society, and belonged to the Musical and local Garden Club. During her early years, ÂNonie and her parents resided in Colorado, California, Kansas and then Texas while her father pursued his business interests in petroleum and natural gas exploration and production. Later, when daughters, Jean, Dorothy, and Carolyn were schooled at Our Lady of the Lake in San Antonio, she became an avid supporter of both the school and the nuns, the Sisters of Divine Providence, who taught there. She maintained close contact and relationships with many of the nuns, even to the present, and when she was able to do so, attended events at the University conducted by the music department. ÂNonie is also remembered for her lifelong affection for Yorkshire Terriers, having had three over the course of many years, each of whom were great delights to all the young children in the family. She is fondly remembered for her humor and laughter, avid reading of religious and historical publications and her interest in discussions of topical issues. In her senior years, ÂNonie enjoyed casual drives into downtown San Antonio to reminisce about her early years in the city. She also enjoyed excursions into the countryside surrounding San Antonio, visiting historic and recreational areas. During her latter days, she was a resident of Vitas Hospice , to whom deep thanks and appreciation is extended for their devotion, dedication and the loving care provided her. Obituary: Harold L. Partain Harold L. Partain, 83, went to be with the Lord on Oct.19, 2010. Graveside services were held Oct. 21 at 2 p.m. in Hico at Hico Public with Leldon Partain officiating. He was born 30, 1927 in Hico. He was married on Aug. 21, 1982. Mr. Partain was a WWII veteran of the United States Navy. He did auto body work for 50 years at Cavender Oldsmobile in San Antonio, where he retired. his re-tirement, he and his wife moved to Hamilton in 1991 and raised their three children. He was a Baptist. He is preceded in death by his father, Laine Partain, his step-mother, Faye Partain, his mother, Ethel Martin and a sister, Willena Dale Partain.
