Obituary: Mrs. Eula Gray Parten, of Mobile, AL, entered into eternal rest , 3, 2016 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was 93. The family will receive friends , 7, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Radney , Mobile. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. from the Oakleigh Chapel at Radney , Mobile. Interment will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens. Rev. Terry Richey will officiate. Mrs. Parten was a longtime ministers wife serving First Baptist Church of Grand Bay and San Souci Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ruben Parten. She leaves to cherish her memory her two daughters, Melanie (Rick) Bentley of Winston Salem, NC and Debbie (Michael) Rice of Mobile, AL, five grandchildren, Yvonne Brewer, Heather Bentley, Griffin Bentley, Brandon Rice, and Garrett Rice, and seven great-grandchildren. The family would like to give a very special thank you to her caregivers, Mary Jackson, Ann Smith, Marilyn Belle, Naomi Lawson, Mary Lacey, Sheila Cleveland, and Gytine Harris.
