Obituary: View Webcast Part One View Webcast Part Two Mrs. Bertie Bolton Pantall, 96, longtime resident of Mooresville Pike in Columbia, died , 17, 2014 at Emeritus at Legacy Crossing in Franklin. services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. at Williamson Memorial in Franklin. Burial will follow in Williamson Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends from 4 – 8:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at Williamson Memorial . Oakes & Nichols is assisting the family with arrangements. The family suggests memorials to Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Effort, 410 Allied Drive, Nashville, TN 37211 or Alive Hospice, 1718 Patterson St., Nashville, TN 37203 or St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Condolences may be offered online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury native was the daughter of the late George Washington Bolton and Sarah Hardin Bolton and attended Maury schools. On 24, 1938 she married Oliver W. Pantall who preceded her in death May 4, 2010. Mrs. Pantall had a special love for children and enjoyed visiting families with her husband as part of his ministry. She also enjoyed cooking, auto racing and basketball. She was a member of Thompsons Station Church of Christ. Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Sara Pantall Hood of Franklin; sons, Jimmy (Linda) Pantall of Columbia, Steve (Mary Jo) Pantall and Phil (Claire) Pantall both of Franklin; grandchildren, Mrs. Paula (Sterling) Marlin, David (Deanna) Hood, Todd (Kim) Pantall, Scott (Paige) Pantall, Chad Pantall, Shane (Kacy) Pantall, Jon (Jenny) Hood, Mrs. Stephanie (Tim) Dockstader, Grayson Pantall; thirteen great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and two sisters-in-law, Grace Bolton and Jean Pantall. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Tim Hood. Grandsons will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include members of Thompsons Station Church of Christ, staff and residents of Emeritus at Legacy Crossing in Franklin and the Komfort Keepers caretakers. |

Obituary: Richard H. Rick Pannell, 57, of Bartlett, passed away on afternoon, 14, 2014 at his home. He was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church where he was active in the choir. He also enjoyed painting. Mr. Pannell, the husband of Sandra T. Sandy Pannell is also survived by his mother, Lavelle Pannell; sister, Sharon (Daniel) Troxell and nephew, Dustin, all of Cordova. He was loved and will be missed by his aunts, uncles and cousins. Rick was preceded in death by his father, Harold Pannell. The family will receive friends evening, 18, from 5-8 p.m. at Memphis and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. A celebration of Ricks life will be at 11 a.m., , 19 in Pollard Chapel at Bellevue Baptist Church, 2000 Appling Rd., Cordova. Interment will be private.
