Obituary: Morris R. Page, 92 YARMOUTH - Morris R. Page of Independence, OH, previously of Yarmouth, ME passed away 8th 2015 after a 5 month illness. Morris was born 25, 1922 in Newport, ME son of Ray O. Page and Ethel (nee Nelson) both deceased. He was the husband of the late Esther (nee Allen). He was preceded in death by his brothers Gerald (Jerry) and Carleton (wife Priscilla), and a niece and nephew. Morris was a U.S. Army sergeant and was a 5 year veteran of World War II. He was stationed in Yarmouth on shore patrol duty and came to know it and love it as home. He also served in Europe as a heavy artillery mechanic where he lost part of his hearing. He was a lifetime member of American Legion Post 91 in Yarmouth where he served as post commander for 5 years in the 90s. He was also a lifetime member of the VFW. the war Morris moved back to Yarmouth where he ran a local service station for several years. marrying Esther the couple moved to Ohio to help Esthers sisters who had recently been very ill. While in Ohio Morris worked in security for a major steel firm and later worked as a salesman for several Ford dealerships, winning many sales awards. 20 plus years in Ohio the couple moved back to Yarmouth to care for Esthers ailing mother and Morris spent many years working in heavy truck design and sales for Rowe Ford in Westbrook. Morris moved to Ohio in 2002 to be near his nephew and best friend David Moeller and his family after living at Bartlett Circle in Yarmouth for many years. Along with his nephew David and his family Morris is survived by 11 other nieces and nephews. Also, many great nieces and nephews and many special friends with whom he was close. A memorial gathering for Morris will be held on Sat. Sept. 12th 2015 from 12 to 2 at Lindquist , One Mayberry Lane, Yarmouth followed by a graveside service and burial in Riverside . |

Obituary: Lois Jean (Russell) Page, died peacefully at the James Cancer 2, 2014 surrounded by family and friends. Born Lois Jean Barbour of Enola, PA. Sept. 21, 1931 to parents, Albert & Carrie Barbour. Lois was described as a loving, congenial and vivacious person who loved people, life and playing bingo. A faithful and devoted wife, helpmate, and companion who put others before herself. Lois was devoted to her family while making her home a warm and welcoming abode to all visitors. Loved and adored by her husband, of thirty-eight years, Robert A. Page. Preceded in death by; Parents Albert & Carrie Bourbour, previous husband, Charles E. Russell and sons; Randal Leigh and Charles Evert Russell. Survived by: Husband, Dr. Robert Page, daughter-in-law, Shirley Hughes, Grandchildren; Randal Russell, Timothy Russell, and Jennifer Russell. Nephews; Scott P Hummel, Jim Hummel, Rob Krejci niece Laura Otto, sister-in-Law, Carol Krejci and special cousin, George Baddorf. Sadly missed, but safe in the arms of Jesus. service will be 10:30 a.m. at the Halteman-Fett & Dyer with Pastor Rick Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Greenfield Twp. . Obituary: Lawrence T. Page Age 91, of East Canton died , 21, 2015 in Mercy Medical following an extended illness. Born 19, 1924 in Canton, OH. to the late Francis E. and Lola Faye (Tipton) Page. He was a life resident of Canton and a 1942 graduate of Canton Township High School. Lawrence was a U.S. Army WWII veteran serving as a medic with the 148th Engineer Combat Battalion. He served in five major battles, two of which being the Battle of the Bulge and D- Day invasion. He was awarded a Bronze Star. He was retired from Ford Motor and had formerly been employed with Canton Flower Shop. Lawrence was a member of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church, DAV and Battle of the Bulge Assoc. Preceded in death by one sister, Ramona Crisp. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Mary L. (Poland) Page; two daughters and son-in-law, Joy and Brad Bowman of Florida, Ann Lowder of Canton; two sons and daughter-in-law, Dean Page of Canton, Dale and Pauline Page of Bolivar; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Wanda and James Haney of Uniontown. services will be , 25, 2015 at 10:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders on South Cleveland Ave with Rev.
