Obituary: Christopher Delle Picard, age 52, passed away on 20th 2016, in his home in Southern Pines, NC. Chris was born and raised in Pennsylvania. He graduated Pennridge HS, Bucks , Pa and Univ. of Maryland (Munich Germany). Chris was a US Army Vet and spent his time volunteering at local service organizations Chris is survived by his parents, Salvatore and Marlene Picard Pinehurst, NC, brother Gregg Picard (Cathie), Maple Valley, WA, sister Nancy Picard, Chicago, IL, nieces and nephew, Natalie and Coltin Picard, Renee Picard and Marco Devaud. Obituary: WINSTON-SALEM - Angelo Piazza, 56, passed away , 21, 2010 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice after a strong battle against kidney cancer. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and moved to Winston-Salem in 1996 to take care of his wifes parents. moving to North Carolina, Angelo would walk outside and say Its another beautiful day! Angelo took advantage of North Carolinas beautiful weather by hiking, running and working in the yard. He was an avid runner and he ran the New York Marathon numerous times and in fact was in training to run another marathon before his diagnosis. He also took pleasure in remodeling homes. Angelo was a member of Saint Leos Catholic Church. Even though kidney cancer is an aggressive disease and Angelos life was dramatically shortened, he was able to experience the true caring and kindness of others. Angelo was preceded in death by his beloved parents Beatrice Guarnieri and Anthony Piazza; Uncle Sal Scalice; and God-daughter Kristina Scalice. Angelo will be missed in life by a very large family; his loving father Larry Guarnieri, his beloved wife, Peggy and his son, William, which he was very proud of; his dear Aunt Mary Scalice, his brothers, Sal Guarnieri and his wife Linda, Larry Guarnieri and his wife Clare, and Thomas Guarnieri and wife Patti; his sisters Josephine and her husband Bob, and Patricia Collins and her husband Bryan. He is also survived by his close cousins Sal Scalice and his wife Cheryl, JoAnn Kucan and her husband Bob, and Maria Giordano and her husband Jimmy. Angelo was a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews. Angelo would also want us to include his loyal companions and mans best friend Coco and B.B who never left his side during his illness. Even through his fight with cancer, Angelo enjoyed his many visits from his close friends, Mike and Ruth Green, Mark and Marcia Wilkinson, and David and Anna Moore. Angelo lived an accomplished and successful life. He enjoyed a wonderful twenty-three years of marriage to Peggy. Angelo received a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Queens and was a Senior Data Movement Administrator at Inmar Technology Solutions. Angelo always said that he was truly blessed to work for a company that cared so much about their employees. The family will receive friends and family at Vogler and Sons on Reynolda Road on , 22, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. A Mass and Graveside Service will take place in Angelos hometown in New York on , 24, 2010. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations to the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice , 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103 would be appreciated. |
