Obituary: Nell Beatty Patterson, 92, of Gastonia, passed away , 16, 2013 at Carillon Assistant Living, Lincolnton with her loving family by her side. She was born in Georgia and was the daughter of the late Claude and Estelle Hulcey Beatty. Mrs. Patterson retired from the Mayflower Plant of Burlington Industries, Cramerton. Mrs. Patterson is survived by one daughter, Donna Lutz and husband Gary of Gastonia; three grandchildren, Keith Lutz and wife Shannon of Eagle, Michigan, Krystal Lutz of Raleigh, Peter Lutz and wife Alicia of Dallas; two great grandchildren, Branden and Kennadie; two brothers, Jack Beatty and wife JoNell of Gastonia, Troy Beatty and wife Pauline of Charleston, South Carolina; two sisters, Betty Forrester and husband John of Stanley, Geneva Donald and husband Weldon of Seneca, South Carolina. A private graveside service for the family will be at Gaston Memorial Park with a Celebration of Life Service to be 3:00 P. M. at The Colonial Chapel of Carothers , Gastonia with Rev. Clyde Penry officiating. The family will receive friends at Carothers after the Celebration of Life Service. Mrs. Patterson was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 50 years, Ralph Jackson Patterson; four sisters, Joyce Simmons, Louise McCurley, Irene Brown, Emma Beatty; three brothers, R. D. Beatty, Marvin Beatty, Claude Emory Beatty. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative of Lincoln , 107 North Cedar Street, Lincolnton, North Carolina 28092. Obituary: Waynesville, Nancy Riggins Patterson, age 75, passed away on , 28, 2015 at The stead. A native of Haywood , she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Janie Ross Riggins and was also preceded in death by her husband, Glen E. Pat Patterson, who died in 2003. She was a US Air Force veteran. Nancy worked as an accountant at Blue Ridge Glass and attended Ninevah Baptist Church. Nancy loved spending time with her grandchildren and the Golden Girls and enjoyed weaving baskets. Nancy is survived by her daughter, Christie Patterson of Waynesville; two sisters, Levada Mills of Winston-Salem and Judy Leopard of Waynesville; a brother, Gene Riggins, of Fountain Inn, South Carolina; granddaughter, Kimber Warlick and her husband, Justin; three great-granddaughters, Olivia, Adeline and Arya Warlick; and several nieces and nephews. services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on , 4, 2015 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells with Reverend Michael Leslie and Reverend Alan Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be Dennis Early, Ronnie Smith, Larry Smith, Larry Inman, Bob Morris and Dino Leopard. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on at the funeral home and at other times, the family will be at the home of her granddaughter, 338 Haynes Cove Road. Obituary: Nancy Louise Patterson, 88, of Statesville went home to be with her late husband of 65 years, Thomas M. Patterson, on , 24, 2014. Nancy was born 29, 1926 to the late Merle and Thelma Bushyager in Jeannette, PA. She graduated from Jeannette High School and married Tom Patterson in 1944 in Walla Walla, WA. spent many years in Jeannette, PA before relocating to North Carolina, and then moved to The Villages in Lady Lake, FL before returning to North Carolina. Nancy had many interests which included her church, Bridge, Habitat for Humanity, Meals on Wheels, and Hospice . Nancy is survived by her four children: Bonnae, who has three children and five grandchildren; Tom who has three children and two grandchildren; Rich, who has one child; and Susi who has three children. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on , 28, 2014 at the Episcopal Church of St. Peter By-The-Lake with Rev. Beth Lilly officiating. The family will receive friends in the Furr Hall following the service.
