Obituary: Rita A. Paré, 87, of Manchester died 28, 2008 at her home with her family by her side after a valiant one-year battle with cancer. Born on May 6, 1921, in Manchester, she was the daughter of William and Glorianna (Boisvert) Pichette. She was educated in the local school system. Prior to retirement in 1984, she had been employed by Myrna Shoe in Manchester. Previously, she had worked many years at Dorson-Fleischer Shoe . She married Clayton Paré in St. Theresa Church on 8, 1942, and resided in Manchester after he returned from serving in WWII. In their retirement together, Rita and her husband spent many winters in Largo, Florida. She enjoyed shopping for bargains and calling or visiting her many friends. She was a great cook and especially proud of her family. She loved to make others laugh and be happy. She will always be remembered as a caring woman with great vitality, strength, and humor. Mrs. Paré was a devout Catholic and communicant of St. Joseph Cathedral, where she was proud to have her son-in-law serve as deacon. She was predeceased by her only sister, Theresa. Members of her family include her husband of 66 years, Clayton Paré of Manchester; two daughters, Elaine T. (Paré) Potvin and her husband Deacon Robert Potvin, Michelle I. (Paré) Tyler and her husband Brian Tyler; seven grandchildren, Michael P. Potvin, Christine M. (Potvin) Shea, Brooke K. Tyler, Blake W. Tyler, Emma M. Tyler, Spencer C. Tyler, and Keira J. Tyler; five great-grandchildren, Austyn Shea, Caitlyn Shea, Nathan Potvin, Paige Potvin, and Grace Potvin. Calling hours at Lambert & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St, Manchester, will be from 4 to 7 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on at 11 am in St. Joseph Cathedral. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary , 474 Goffstown Rd, Manchester. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the VNA Hospice Program, 33 So. Commercial St., Suite 401, Manchester, NH 03101 or to St. Casimir School, 456 Union St, Manchester, NH 03103. |

Obituary: Clayton A. Pare, 93, of Manchester died on 29, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. Born on 27, 1920, in Pittsfield, MA, he was the son of Gerard and Sybil (Raymond) Pare. Clayton attended Manchester Central High School and prior to retirement, worked for many years as an independent distributor with HP Hood . Clayton was a veteran of the US Army, having served in the Battle of the Bulge. He was a 3rd degree knight, of the Knights of Columbus, Chapter 92 and a member of Precious Blood League of 1000 men. Clayton spent many years as a volunteer in both area hospitals, as well as at the VA and St. George Church. He also dedicated much of his time at the Manchester voting polls, supporting local government. Clayton enjoyed traveling, road trips and spending time together with his wife in Largo, FL. He was known to others as The Breakfast Gourmet, frequenting local diners. Clayton could also be described as a inkerer. He could fix absolutely anything. Members of his family include two daughters, Elaine Pare and her husband Deacon Robert Potvin, of Hooksett, and Michelle Tyler and her husband Brian, of Manchester; seven grandchildren, Michael Potvin and his wife Connie, of Hooksett, Christine Shea and her husband Christopher, of Concord, Brooke Tyler, Blake Tyler, Emma Tyler, Spencer Tyler, and Keira Tyler all of Manchester; five great grandchildren, Austyn and Caitlyn Shea of Concord, and Nathan, Paige and Grace Potvin of Hooksett; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 66 years Rita A. (Pichette) Pare in 2008; four brothers, Gerard, George, Francis and Robert Pare; and sister Irene Colpitts. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on , 4, 2013 at St. Joseph Cathedral. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary . Obituary: Roger J. Paradise, 87, of Manchester died 7, 2009 at Hanover Hill care after a period of declining health. Born in Canada on 3, 1922, he was the son of Joseph and Marie (Plourde) Paradise. His family later moved to Nashua where he was educated. During World War II and the Korean War he served in the US Navy. He then served in the Naval Reserve for 33 years and retired at the rank of chief petty officer. Mr. Paradise worked as a fingerprint expert with the New Hampshire State Police for many years. He founded Allsafe & Vault, Inc. in 1950 where he served as president until his retirement in 1988. He was a member of Washington Masonic Lodge #61 in Manchester and Bektash Temple Shriners in Concord. He was also a founding member of the Associated Locksmiths of America. He was predeceased by his first wife, Rita (Gaam) Paradise, and by his second wife, Lucianne (Chauvette) Paradise. The family includes two children, Ronica Hebert of Manchester and Richard Paradise of Bedford; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and a sister, Jennette Marquet of Florida. SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A private memorial service is planned and interment is at the New Hampshire State Veterans , Boscawen, NH. Donations may be made to Bektash Shriners, and mailed to P.O. Box 4086, Concord, NH 03302 Lambert & Crematory, Manchester is assisting the family with arrangements. |

She is the daughter of the late Maurice G. and Rita L. (Berthiaume) Paradise. Jackie graduated from Mt. St. Mary Seminary in Nashua and also from NH Vocational Technical . She worked for Nashua Corp and later for BAE Systems in Nashua for 34 years. She loved shopping, sewing, cooking, bingo and scrapbooking. More than anything, Jackie loved spending quality time with her daughter Amy. She was a friend to many and will be dearly missed.
