Obituary: Preston H. Gough, Sr., 87, Madison, Mississippi, went to be with Lord on 11, 2015. Preston was born in Vicksburg, MS on 19, 1927 to Zelda and Preston R. Gough. He attended Vicksburg Public Schools and served in WWII. Upon his discharge, he enrolled and graduated from Millsaps . Preston married Melba Jean Jones from Walnut Grove, MS in 1947 and together they had 3 children, Preston H. Gough, Jr. (Barbara) Flora, MS, Thomas Alan Gough, Madison, MS and Gaye Gough Smith (John), Madison, MS. He worked his entire career for the Farm Bureau Insurance Companies serving twice in the Florida operation and twice in the Mississippi operation. He retired in 1990 as Executive Vice President and State Manager for Mississippi. He was a charter and life-long member of Broadmoor Baptist Church and served in many capacities over the years. Preston was a very active member of the Mississippi Woodworkers Association and the North Jackson Kiwanis Club. He also served as President of the Mississippi Heart Association. Preston is survived by his 3 children, 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers and was predeceased by his parents, 2 sisters and 1 brother. Services will be held at Parkway in Ridgeland, MS on , 14 at 2:00 PM. Visitation for Preston H. Gough, Sr. will be held at Parkway on , 13 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and also at 1:00 PM on . Memorial donations may be made to the Mississippi Alzheimers Association. The family would like to express a heartfelt Thank You to the entire staff at St. Catherines Village in Madison, MS for taking care of our Dandy. |

Obituary: Robert M. Bobby Preston, 49, passed away , 10, 2016. Visitation will be 12:00-2:00pm, , 14, 2016, at Baldwin-Lee in Pearl. services will follow at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel with interment in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Bobby was a graduate of Lamesa High School in Lamesa, TX and Hinds Community . He worked for many years as a painter in construction, and was a member of Truitt Memorial Baptist Church in Pearl. A true competitor, he played a mean round of miniature golf, and was quite the challenger on the night bowling league team. Bobby also enjoyed music, particularly from his high school years in the 80s. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bettie Jean Stevenson Preston; brother, Lynn Stevenson; and sister, Sheila McPhail. Survivors include father, Bob Preston; brother, Terry Stevenson; niece, Felicia Rushing; and great-niece, Coty Leigh Rushing. |

Obituary: Bonnie N. Prestenberg, age 66 years, passed away on , 3, 2015 at her home in Biloxi, MS. Beloved wife of Walter W. Prestenberg, Jr. for 42 years. Loving mother of Kim Marie Rushing (Marshall “Skittles” Anderson) and Kelly Sue Silva (Sixto Silva). Daughter of the late Clarence J. and Evelyn R. Normand. Sister of Don Normand and the late Donna Normand. Grandmother of Sarah Jean and Shawn William Rushing, and Kaylah Rose Silva. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Prestenberg was a retired Certified Surgical Technician at the Ear, Eye, Nose and Throat Hospital and Baptist Hospital in New Orleans, LA for more than 30 years. She was a lifelong member of Atonement Lutheran Church in Metairie and also the Ladies Auxiliary for the 3rd District Volunteer Fire Dept., Metairie, LA.
