Obituary: J. Elaine Palmatier Bath, MI Age 84, born 10, 1926 in Woodland, MI to Wayne and Sarah (Wood) Offley, passed away on 25, 2011. Elaine raised her family in Bath. She enjoyed time at their cottage, loved tending to her garden and flowers, but most of all enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Samuel J. Palmatier in 1989. Surviving is her loving family: daughters, Sharon (Larry) Fuller of Lake Odessa, MI, Darlene (Larry) Martin of Mason, MI, Diane (Terry) Christmas of Cadillac, MI, Debra (Michael) Chesney, Saginaw, MI; sons Gary Palmatier of Charlotte, MI, Tim (Paula) Palmatier of Shaftsburg, MI; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers Ron (Mary Ellen) Offley, and Ted (Joyce) Offley. services will be held on , 29, 2011 at 10 A.M. at Gorsline Runciman s, 205 E. Washington, DeWitt, MI, with the Rev. Tom VanDyke officiating. Interment will follow at Rose in Bath. The family will receive friends on , 28, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the DeWitt Chapel.
