Obituary: Shirley C. Palmer, 86 of El Dorado, passed away , 30, 2015, at the John R. Williamson Hospice House. She was born 27, 1928, to Clem and Sally M. McGuinty Davis in Wilmar, AR. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, where she worked as church Secretary before her retirement. Preceding her in death are her parents; her loving husband of 56 years, Robert C. Palmer; son, Robert A. Tony Palmer; and daughter, Robin Simmons. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Paula Andrews of El Dorado; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and son-in-law, Steve Simmons of El Dorado. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. , 2, 2015, at Youngs. services will be at 1:00 p.m., , 3, 2015, at Immanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Kimball, Rev. Gary Glasgow, and Rev. Obituary: Mildred Nord Palmer, of Memphis, Tennessee died , May 8th, 2011 in Hot Springs, Arkansas, at the age of 85. Born in Sanborn, Minnesota, 23 1926, to Claus and Esther Nord, Mildred was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mildred was a devout Christian and a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Memphis, Tennessee prior to moving to Hot Springs, Arkansas in 1989, where she was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. She loved gospel music and traveling, but most important she cherished the time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her very much. Mildred is survived by her daughter Sharon, her grandchildren Jason Sholtz, Janae Sholtz Scroggs, Jeff Sholtz, Amanda Tyson Mitchell & Scott Tyson; and great grandchildren, Samuel, Carole Ann, Julien; along with the five Gideon Girls, Jean Marie, Cindy, Debbie, Cathy and Michelle. services will be held at 2:00 p.m. , May 21st, 2011 at Memphis and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N.
