Obituary: Albert Newton Penta, affectionately known by his friends as Big Al and as Pops to his grandchildren, passed on 21, 2015, surrounded by family and loved ones. He is survived by his loving wife Constance Pelletier Penta; his children, daughter Pamela Penta Murray of Fort Myers, FL and her children Nicholas and Jameson Murray; daughter Patrice Penta Glynn of Hampton, NH and her children Jennifer Glynn and Ashley Glynn OByrne; son Mark Penta, and predeceased by daughter Kymberly Penta Davidson, who is survived by her children Derek and Darren Davidson. Albert is also survived by his sister, Jean Penta Kennan of Wells, ME and predeceased by his brother Dr. Walter Penta of Portland, ME. Albert is survived by several nieces and nephews. Albert was born on 18th, 1924 in Stoneham MA and lived with his wife Constance in Wakefield MA, for the last 60 years. Albert was a graduate of Hebron Academy in Maine and Colby in Waterville ME. He worked at Wakefield engineering as a production manager. Big Al had a big sense of humor and a big heart. He loved to laugh and to make others laugh. He always had a magic trick up his sleeve to show his grandchildren. Albert was very fond of the ponies, dogs, and Las Vegas. Al loved to take his daughters and grandchildren to Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods. Al was also an avid sports fan. Al will always be remembered as a young guy with an old face, and as he embarks on his next great adventure we will all remember that he loves us more. The funeral service will be held at the McDonald-Finnegan , 322 Main St., Stoneham on 24, at 12 p.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on morning prior to the service from 10 to noon. Interment, St. Patrick , Stoneham. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, Ma. |

Obituary: Barbara A. Bonnie Zink Pensivy passed away peacefully at home in Pittsfield on 11, 2014. She was born in Pittsfield on 18, 1945. She was a daughter of Edward D. Zink, Jr. and Vera K. (Wilker) Zink. She attended Pittsfield Schools and graduated from Pittsfield High in 1962. While in high school, she was on the ski team, a cheerleader and participated in several other sports. She was active during her youth with Girl Scouts and was a member of the Order of the Rainbow for Girls, attaining the office of Worth Adivsor in her senior year. She graduated from the University of Maine at Orono receiving her B. S. is in 1966. She went on to complete a Master of Education in Psychology at North Adams State . She participated in various outdoor clubs and ski teams while in college. She went to San Francisco after college where she became involved in modeling. From there she moved to Fairbanks, Alaska where she married, Michael F. Pensivy, Jr., in 1969. She returned to the Berkshires to pursue her career in nursing, which included teaching at Berkshire Community and Mildred Elley and becoming a nursing supervisor at Hillcrest Hospital, and held several positions at local nursing homes and lastly staff development coordinator at Springside of Pittsfield. She also opened and operated her own Real Estate Business, CHE.MI.DAR Realty. She lived an active and social life and particularly enjoyed Country and Western Dance, and tap dancing. Bonnie continued skiing throughout her adult life and was a member of the National Ski Patrol at both Blandford Ski Area and Bousquet for almost 30 years. The primary focus of her life was to provide for her children and grandchildren and their continued well-being. She leaves her three children, Cherie A. Pensivy Rocca of Windsor, Michael F. Pensivy III and his wife Jennifer of Peru, and Darrin E. Pensivy and his wife Saharra of Williamsburg, and seven grandchildren, Zachary and Joshua Rocca, Haleigh, Amber, Allen, Samantha and Scarlet Pensivy, her brother David E. Zink and his wife Sandra of Windsor, and her sister Nancy L. Zink. She is also survived by her former husband Michael F. Pensivy Jr., of Middlefield, Ma., and two nieces Launa Zink-Torresan and Rachel Zink. Notice: Calling hours for Bonnie will be held from 3 to 6 P.M. at the DERY FUNERAL HOME, with a service to follow at 6:00 P.M. with the Rev. Constance Morrison, officiating. Obituary: EASTON——Gregory Pensinger, 54, of Easton, formerly of West Bridgewater, died , 3, 2015 at Massachusetts General Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Brockton on 22, 1960, a son of the late Howard and Dorothy (Dray) Pensinger, he was raised in West Bridgewater and was a graduate of West Bridgewater High School. Gregory was employed as a carpenter in the construction industry and worked for Pensinger Construction for several years. He later worked as an event planner for the New England Aquarium in Boston. A talented and creative woodworker, he enjoyed cooking. Gregory is survived by three siblings, Mark Pensinger of Middleboro, Loren Pensinger of Cape Coral, FL., and Susan Madonna of Easton; and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Scott Pensinger. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on from 4-8 p.m. in Kane and Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton, followed by a funeral service at 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Obituary: ORLEANS - Robert R. Peno, Jr. passed away peacefully at home on 10, 2014 surrounded by his family. Born in Greenfield, MA on 10, 1923 the son of Lena (Barber) and Robert R. Peno, Sr. Bob attended Greenfield schools, graduating from high school in 1941. He then went to Dartmouth for 2 years before entering the Army Signal Corps. On 26th, 1944 Bob married Jacqueline Scott a classmate from high school. moved to Boston where Bob attended New England School of Pharmacy. Coming to the Cape he purchased the Orleans Pharmacy (now CVS in the center of Orleans) and later in 1959 he built the building on Main Street which now is the port, The Hope Chest and Kinlin Grover. He sold the business in the early 80's and established a real estate business, Robert R. Peno Real Estate in the late seventies. Bob was very active in town politics serving as Chairman of the Finance Committee and other town committee as well as serving on the Board of Selectman 1974-1979. Bob was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He will be missed by many. He is survived by his wife Jacqueline of 70 years, son Stephen and his partner Melora, daughter Jane. His grandsons Jesse and his wife Megan, Benjamin and his girlfriend Danielle and granddaughter Sadie and her partner Katherine, four great grandchildren Adian, Brendan, Jack and Tessa Rose and several cousins. Visiting hours will be 19th at Nickerson , 77 Eldredge Park Way, Orleans, MA from 4pm - 7pm. A reception will be held on , 11th from 3pm - 6pm at the Orleans Yacht Club on Cove Road.
