Obituary: Olga M. Plessala May 16, 1924 \ 15, 2015 Olga M. Plessala, born in Patterson and resided in Morgan City, passed away on , 15, 2015 at the Morgan City at the age of 90. Olga was a Life Member of The VFW a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church serving other through Ladies Alter Society, and the Bereavement Committee. Olga will be fondly remember as a kind hearted lady who loved her family and faithful prayed the rosary daily for them all. She is survived by her son Timothy James Plessala and his wife Carol Colvin. She was reunited in heaven with her husband, Jerry Paul Plessala Sr.; three sons, Jerry Paul Plessala Jr.; and Donald Lynn Plessala, Renny Plessala; her daughter, Gina Plessala; and her parents, Alcide Falgout and Sevillia Stephens. There will be a gathering of family and friends at Hargrave from 6 pm until 9 pm. Rosary services will be at 7 pm. Visitation will continue 9 am until services. Services will be held at Hargrave at 11 am. Olga will be laid to rest in the Morgan City . Mrs. Olgas family would like to sincerely thank Morgan City and Journey Hospice for the care given to her during her last days. |

Gena was a dedicated and loving caregiver for her mother and others that needed assistance. She loved people and enjoyed their company. She enjoyed playing cards and an occasional outing with her mom to the local casino. Her much loved puppy Bo was also special to her. She especially enjoyed her friendship with Morris and her loving nieces (2) and nephews (3). Gena is survived by two brothers: Timothy Plessala and his life partner Carol, and Renny Plessala and his wife Theresa all of Jacksonville, Florida and her mother Olga Falgout Plessala of Morgan City. She is preceded in death by her father Jerry Paul Plessala, and two brothers Jerry, Jr. and Donald Plessala. Obituary: Memorial services for Loretia Marcantel Plemons will be held , 9, 2015, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Houma during an 11:00 AM Liturgy of the Word Service with Deacon Jimmy Brunet officiating. A gathering will be held at the church at 10:00 AM. Following local services, Ms. Plemons requested her ashes be interred with her deceased infant son in Tennessee. Loretia, a native of Oberlin, was raised in Lake Charles and was a longtime resident of Houma until recently moving to Patterson to be near family. She passed away at the age of 75 on , 2, 2015, in Patterson. Survivors include her son, Keith Plemons of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Joshua and Patrick Plemons; her sisters, Mary Bellard and Frances Daughtery; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Karl Plemons; and her parents, Hillary Marcantel and Delphine Fuselier Marcantel.
