Obituary: Carolyn Ann Patton, 75, of Leesville, passed away , 2, 2015 at Riverside Hospital in Alexandria. She was born May 21, 1940 in San Antonio, TX to Oliver and Dorothy (Thompson) Duelm. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gordon William Patton, one brother Oliver A. Duelm Jr, and one sister Marilyn Posey. Surviving to cherish her memory are her two children, Gary Patton of Seattle, WA and Debbie L. Bowen and her husband Mark of Jena, La. Also surviving is her brother Richard Duelm and his wife Lisa of Dallas, TX, her sister Margaret Lykins and her husband Steve of Irving, TX, four grandchildren, Gary Bowen, Missie Poole, Belinda Heard and Thomas Bowen, eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Carolyn was a member of Cooper Baptist Church in Pickering, LA. She retired from the Vernon Parish Library after 28 years. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, who loved sewing, knitting, and cooking. Visitation will be , 4, 2015 from 5 to 7:30 pm at Hixson in Leesville and will resume , 5, 2015 at 9:00 am until time of service. A funeral service will be on , 5, 2015 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Pastor Thomas Bowen will officiate. Burial will be , 8, 2015 at 12:00 pm at the Alexandria National . Obituary: Claire Elizabeth Hartwell Pattison entered into eternal rest on , 17, 2012 at the age of 67. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on 21, 1944 to Dr. Ralph and Sadie Blouin Inky Hartwell. At the age of 3, her family moved to Metairie where she lived until retiring. Then she and her husband moved to Gonzales, LA where she lived for the past two years. She attended Ursuline Academy and graduated from East Jefferson High School. Mrs. Pattison was an administrative assistant at Ecole Classique Preschool and a parishioner of St. Mary Magdalen. She was also a member of the Perpetual Adoration group at Our Lady of Divine Providence. Beloved wife of Gerald Pattison for 48 years. Mother of Deborah Pattison, Daniel Pattison (Paige) and Denise Roos (Barry). Grandmother of Ryan and Chad Pattison and Brandon and Bryce Roos. Sister of Ralph M. Hartwell and the late Madeline H. Avocato. A Mass will be held on , 24, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Garden of Memories , 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Garden of Memories .
