Obituary: Jack Eugene Pierson, Sr., 79, of Mishawaka, passed away during the early morning hours of , 28th in his residence. Jack was born in South Bend on 13, 1935 to the late Lovel Leroy and Ann (Mikrut) Pierson. Jack honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was discharged in 1955. For forty years he was an Insurance Agent in the area, he retired in 2000. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Mishawaka. Jack was an avid golfer, having 3 holes-in-ones in his career, along with being the City Golf Champion. On 15, 1979, in South Bend, he married Caroline Kisling. Jack is survived by his wife; Caroline Pierson, of Mishawaka; and his 3 children; Jack E. (Kathy)Pierson, Jr., Alicia A. (Ed) LaHaie, and Karen M. Morris. He was the grandfather of 3; Aaron (Ida) Morris, Jamie (Jeremy) Herring and Steve DeVriese: and a great grandfather of 7. Jack is also survived by his siblings; Roy (Vonda) Pierson of Niles, Michigan, Edwin Miles (Caron) Pierson of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Betty Crutcher of Stafford, Texas, and Louella (Dan) Stephens of Wyandotte, Michigan and their families. Friends may visit with the family on , 2, 2014 in the Bubb Chapel, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, from 10:30 until service time. A service celebrating Jacks life will be held in the funeral chapel at 12:30pm with Msgr. Bruce Piechocki officiating. Burial is to follow in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola. Prefer donations to for Hospice, in lieu of flowers, envelopes provided at the funeral home. Great appreciation for Jacks cares by Dr. Jose Bufill, Jen Ewing and the entire staff at Michiana Hematology Oncology; you have meant so much to us during that time. We really appreciate also the care and consideration from the for Hospice staff- nurse Julie, Trevor and Jim and others. We were able to keep Jack comfortable at home. |

Obituary: Emma Gene Pierson, 93, passed away 8, 2014. For the past 19 years she has been a resident of The Franklin Indiana Masonic in Franklin. Emma was born 26, 1921 in Indianapolis to the late Otto and Gertie (Selby) Suhr. She is survived by her children, Bette (Mel) Seitz, Marianna (Arthur) Fallon, and Phyllis (Kim) Kelley. She was always proud of her 10 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Chester Pierson. Emma Gene was a member of Franklin Central Christian Church, Prospect Order of the Eastern Star, and she was formerly a leader of the Camp Fire Girls. Her family wishes to thank the Indiana Masonic for the fine care she has received for the past nineteen years. A service will be conducted at 1:00pm , 13, 2014 at Wilson St. Pierre Service & Crematory, Stirling-Gerber Chapel, 5950 E. Thompson Rd., Indianapolis. Friends may call from 11:00 - 1:00pm at the funeral home. Emma will be laid to rest in Washington Park East . Anne worked for several companies throughout her life including Consolidated Aircraft in San Diego, Curtis Wright, Rogers Jewelry, opened Next to New Shop, and was a secretary for Beech Grove Business Men and Beech Grove High School Guidance Department. She was also a court clerk in Beech Grove and founded the Beech Gove Senior Citizen . Obituary: May 8, 1935 -- Aug. 3, 2015 Virginia Jones R. Piersall, 80, of Terre Haute, Ind., passed away Aug. 3, 2015. She was born in Terre Haute, to Edward and Jennie Jones, May 8, 1935. She retired from Launderers of Indiana as a manager. Virginia loved to fish, and she loved her grandchildren and her dog, Chico. She is survived by her two daughters, Linda Willy and Tammy Stadler and husband, John; sons, Gerald Willy and companion, Ute, and Bill Jones Jr. and wife, Deanna. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; and a special grandson, Britt Deese. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Jennie Jones; two daughters, Bonnie Ammerman and Brenda Willy; a son, Roy Jones; one sister; six brothers; a grandson; and one granddaughter. Services are 11 a.m. at Mattox-Wood , with a visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. , at the funeral home. The Rev. Jason Weir will officiate. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
