Obituary: Robert Bob Pattengale, 82, returned to his heavenly home on 1, 2015 after a short illness at St. Joseph Hospital and . Bob was born to the late Ernest F. and Edna R. (Randolph) Pattengale in Kokomo on 1, 1932 and attended Kokomo High School. He was retired from Chrysler after 42 years. As a teen, Bob held the state record in Butterfly Swimming and was a Golden Glove Boxer. Bob also belonged to the Archery Range Club of Galveston and served in the National Guard. He also attended the 1st Assembly of God Church and was a member of UAW Local 685. Bob married his best friend and love of his life, Frances Inez (Cameron) Pattengale on 18, 1950 in Kokomo. Bob was blessed with a loving family and truly enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also had a devoted love for the outdoors, camping while hunting and fishing. Bob is survived by his loving wife as well as his children, Robert Bob (Darla) Pattengale, Teri (Danny) Nicholls, and Jeff Pattengale. Bob leaves a legacy of seven grandchildren, Trisha (Nick) Hand, Daniel (Abbie) Nicholls, Robert Robbie (Stephanie) Pattengale, Jason Pattengale, Ashley Nicholls, Lauren (Austin) Rutherford, and Evan (fiancé Alle) Pattengale. He also leaves behind six great-grandchildren, Gwendolyn Hand, Karson and Kaylee Pattengale, Easton and Cooper Rutherford, and Dylan Nicholls. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a nephew. The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at St. Joseph Hospital and along with the staff at Kindred and Rehab. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. at Sunset Memory Garden with Pastor Dave Mygrant officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Garden . Obituary: Michael Mike Steven Pattengale, 64, Kokomo, started his next journey of life , May 28, 2015 at 5:35 AM. He was born 26, 1951 to Glen Fredrick Pattengale Sr., and Betty (Hatt) Pattengale. On the 1stth of , 1975 he married his wife Susan Kay (Rutherford) Pattengale, and she survives him. He was a 1970 graduate of Haworth High School, where he played football. Mike loved nature and walking in the woods. His favorite bird was the red winged black bird. He had several bird feeders and enjoyed watching them. He enjoyed spending his time with his grandchildren and his family. Mike was also a Girl Scout leader for many years. He fought a courageous and fierce battle with Pancreatic Cancer for 3 years and 7 months. As Mike begins his new journey into heaven, the family would like to spread awareness, and represent this fight with everyone wearing purple. Preceding him in death are his parents, and brother, Richard Pattengale. Surviving Mike is his wife, stepfather Evert Rutherford, daughter, Jennifer Freedom Ellis (Donald), Kokomo, brother, Glen Fredrick Pattengale Jr., Alexandria, (Tami), sister, Sandra Kay Taylor (Eddie), FL, brother in law, Dave Rutherford, two grandchildren, Tyler Little Buddy Williams, whom always had the saying, Buddies forever, Makayla Miss World Williams, four step grandchildren, Blake Lytle, Katherine, Elizabeth, and Sarah Ellis, dogs, Mia My Baby, Spike, cat, Arizona, and Mikes brother in law Chewie Rutherford. The family would like to give a special thank you to Cathy Pattee Wallace, a lifetime friend, and #2 Shellee Hamilton. Arnold was a Member of the National Association of Letter Carriers, the Board of Directors of Pinnacle Credit Union for over 30 years and of the Barbee Lakes Property Owners Association.
