Obituary: Donald Don Eugene Park, 75, of Uniondale, passed away , 30, 2015 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Bluffton to George and Avis (Underhill) on 1, 1940. Don graduated from Rock Creek High School, class of 1958. graduation, he worked at Magnavox before enlisting in the U. S. Army in 1963. He served over 20 years in the Army, including four tours in Vietnam. It was during the Vietnam War that Don was awarded the Bronze Star for his meritorious service in a combat zone. It was also during his military service that he met the love of his life, Pisamai, in Bangkok, Thailand. retiring from the Army with the rank of Master Sergeant in 1984, Don returned to Uniondale. Don enjoyed reading, gardening, ocean fishing and was an avid fan of Indiana University Athletics. Don was a lifelong learner and loved to read and discuss current events and politics. Don truly loved and cherished his family. Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Pisamai Nit; sons, Sakchai Danny of Hephzibah, GA and Dr. Lawrence (Alison) of Fort Wayne; daughters, Madee Oy (Donell) Walker of Hephzibah, GA and Malee (Ned) Elrod of Cedartown, GA.; grandchildren, Jenelle, Tiara, Shawn, Vanessa, John, Stassy, Andrew, Melissa, Luke, Riley, and Garrett; brother, Richard (Sheila) Park of Ossian; and sisters, Carolyn (Stan) Gilbert and Kim (Mike) Downey both of Bluffton. Don was preceded in death by his parents George H. and Avis Park. will be , 3, 2016 at 3:30 PM at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak , 120 West Mill Street, Ossian, IN 46777 with visitation 1 hour prior. Visitation will also be on , 2, 2016 from 2 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oak Lawn . Preferred memorials may be made to Markle VFW. |

Obituary: KENNETH E. PARISOT, 80, of Fort Wayne, died , Feb. 8, 2010, at his residence. Born 11, 1929, in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Edward J. and Anna (Brown) Parisot. He worked for Eskay Dairy for 16 years; then Doswell Burial Vaults for 22 years; and Catholic for eight years, retiring in 1995. He was a Navy veteran. He really enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family at the lake. He married Virginia Parisot on 26, 1949, in Wakefield, Mass.; she survives in Fort Wayne. Also surviving are children, Kenneth E. (Tina) Parisot Jr. and Kathleen M. (Herb) Hecht, both of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Andrea (Jody) Hudson, Kimberly (Mannie) Donate, Andi Parisot; and great-grandchildren, Olivia, Will, Halle, Dakota, Mariah, Haley, Chris, and Sierra.
