Obituary: PHONIEX, AZ – Ann B. Paige, 90, formerly of Schenectady, entered into eternal rest on , 17, 2015. Ann was born in Cuthbert, GA on 24, 1924 a daughter of the late Jasper and Lila Cox. She worked as a nurse, and retired from the General Electric and later Brown Transportation with over 20 years of service. She was a 50 year member of Friendship Baptist Church and a charter member of Al Tabari Court #28. She is survived by her loving children, Beth Chaires, Kim Paige, Zarinah Shakir and her husband Omar and Richard N. Paige, Jr. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Services will be conducted by The Order of the Eastern Star on at 11:30 am at the Friendship Baptist Church , 407 Union Street followed at 12 noon with Reverend Lynn Hamilton, officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Colonie. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Friendship Baptist Church on from 10:30 to 11:30 am. |

Obituary: M. de Pagter 91, resident of Green Valley AZ, died on 5, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Pierre de Pagter. She is survived by her two sons, Peter D. de Pagter of Tucson AZ, and Jack A. de Pagter of Lowell MA, and grandchildren Dirk W. de Pagter of New York NY, and Alexis de Pagter of Tucson AZ. She was active as a service member of the Unity Church of Green Valley. She was also a former resident of Tucson, where she worked for Tucson Unified School District 1 as a nurse, and was active with Literacy Volunteers of Tucson. s final days were supported with professional care at the Fountains, an assisted living facility, and by the hospice at Casa de la Luz. A celebration of her life of service to her family and community is currently in planning. |

Obituary: Kenneth Edward Pagni, beloved husband of Jackie, died peacefully on 6, 2014 at his home in Scottsdale, Arizona. Ken was born 13, 1941 in San Francisco, California to the parents of Frank and Inez Pagni and is one of five children. Ken grew up in Grants Pass, Oregon before joining the Navy in 1959. In 1967, after serving seven years in the Navy, Ken entered the insurance industry working as an underwriter at Certified Life Insurance of California followed by six years at Presidential Life Insurance of America. In May of 1972, Ken moved to Salt Lake City, Utah where he worked for seven years as Assistant Vice President of Underwriting and Issue at Surety Life Insurance . It was here that he met his wife, Jackie. In 1979, Ken accepted an offer to relocate to Munich American Reassurance , Atlanta, Georgia where he was Assistant Secretary and Regional Manager for seven years followed by an opportunity to relocate to Phoenix, Arizona, where he was Vice President of Administration at Legacy Life Insurance . Later, he joined his wife, Jackie, in real estate and they created Platinum Plus Properties, where he worked as a Broker/Owner for over twenty years. Ken attended the University of Utah, Woodbury in California and obtained his FLMI, and CLU Insurance Designations. He also was a guest speaker at many Insurance Conventions during his career. Ken is survived by his wife, Jackie, his children, Scott, Jeff (Alisha), and Heidi (Floyd), his grandchildren, A.J. (Shelby), Tyson, Sydney, Rylee, and Drew, and his great-grandchildren, Drayden and Remi. He was an active grandparent and loved nothing more than to be surrounded by his grandchildren and great- grandchildren. His greatest loves in life were his wife, Jackie, his family, the Phoenix Suns, computers, and fishing. A celebration of life ceremony was held on 11, 2014 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Burial in Wasatch Gardens in Salt Lake City, Utah. In lieu of flowers, Kens wishes were for donations to the Southwest Autism Research and Resource (SARRC) in Phoenix, Arizona. |
