Obituary: Jean Adams Papazian ,91 of Jasper ,GA passed away on 27, 2016. Jean was born in Paris, Texas to Bentley and Florence (Butcher) Adams on 8, 1925. receiving her Master's Degree from the University of Michigan, she taught English in Misawa, Japan to the military children, where she met her husband, Lt. Col. Leon F. Papazian. had two children, John and Virginia (Ginny). As most military families, they ended up traveling to many interesting places. Jean loved music and sang when she was in high school and college. As a young girl of 15, she recorded some songs on records (78's) for her grandmother. If you said something that reminded her of a song, she would start to sing. Later on, her grandchildren became used to the fact that "grandma had a song for everything!" Jean is predeceased in death by her husband, Lee and her son, John. She is survived by her two brothers, Bentley "Chip" (Debbie) Adams and Kent (Nancy) Adams; John's wife, Donna and Ginny (Cliff) Conover; five grandchildren Lee Ann (Bryan) Barton, Spencer Schlampp, Jonathan Papazian, Alaina Papazian and Channah Papazian; five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on , 3, 2016 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Pine Ridge Memorial Park in Kennesaw, Georgia with funeral at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Scottish Rite Children's Hospital or St. Jude's Children's Hospital. |

Obituary: Joseph Peppy Anthony Papale, Sr., 77, of Cumming, GA, passed away, , 25, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Pep was born, 13, 1937 in Bellona Caserta, Italy and immigrated to the United States in 1950. He was honorably discharged from the United States Army in 1958. He was employed as an Albany Fire Fighter for five years before becoming a journeyman of Iron Workers Local 12, retiring after 20 years in 1991. He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Bertha Mae Papale. Joe had six children, Joseph Papale, Jr. (Debbie), Anna Marie ONeill (Tom), Tina Quigley (Paul), Maria Papale, John Papale (Gina), and the late Anthony Papale. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, Robert Woods, Jessica Woods, Eriq Papale, Austin Tracey, Paul Quigley, Anthony Papale, Cadie LaCette, Nicholas Quigley, Rachael LaCette, and Thomas ONeill, and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by three siblings, Christina Bellona, Maria Rivers, and Jenny Couch, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Antimo and Maria Sorinia Papale; beloved mother, Rosa Esperti Papale, sisters Michelina Dinuzzo and Josephine Fusco. Pep will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and loyal friend. He enjoyed spending time tending to his garden and fruit trees. He was a devoted fan of his grandchildrens activities, and loved spending time with his newest friend Rocky the Shih Tzu. Services will be held on , 2, 2015 at 11 am from the Rossi & Ditoro , 501 Union Street, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at St. John the Evangelist Church, Union Street, at 11:30 am. Interment will follow in St. Agnes , Menands. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Rossi & Ditoro from 9 to 11 am. The family would like to thank Peps caregivers at Northside Forsyth Hospital, especially Dr. Amit Dua for his dedication and expert care. Obituary: Beverly Elizabeth Paonessa was a natural leader whose winning presence allowed her to take control of various situations with ease. Equipped with a clear and calculating focus, she possessed a tough-minded, ake charge attitude. She had the ability to make even routine situations seem exciting, and she was at ease with the role of playing problem solver. Beverly always sought out the scene of where the action was. Sociable, analytical and pleasant, Beverly was an individual who enjoyed lifes challenges. Her parents were Sarah and Bill Corey. Always able to express herself well, Beverly possessed strong interpersonal skills. She was optimistic in her outlook on life and was able at all times to be open and direct in her communication. Armed with a great wit, Beverly was raised to be accepting of others and to implement a strong personal work ethic. Blessed with a balanced attitude, Beverly was able to relate well with others. Beverly was raised with two siblings. Bill and Marilyn (deceased). Beverly had a strong desire to be treated fairly and would readily offer others the same fairness in return. Known to others as a focused, logical, open-minded and somewhat driven individual, Beverly was able to utilize these qualities to succeed in high school. Her curious nature was spurred by her ability to maximize her personal learning style through employing a hands-on approach. She was good with facts and had an excellent memory. She enjoyed some courses more than others, having favorite classes and teachers. Friends and acquaintances found Beverly an easy woman to get to know, and those close to her would often praise her open, practical style of communication and relaxed approach to life in general. Beverlys friends were Marie Miller,Aaron and Pam Sileralber, Marcy Bealeau, Ginger and Shellie.Her other friends were Betty Vasco, Father Maguire,Tony, Dan, grandma and Jen. Beverly waas married in 1948 on the military basein the Panama Canal Zone. Beverly was attentive to Roberts feelings, and she charmed Robert. And others with her gift for being able to give freely and generously. A good listener with an engaging personality, Beverly was able to bring pleasure and unexpected humor to the relationship. Very much like a kid herself, Beverly identified with the inquisitive and creative side of her childrens personalities. She was able to direct her energy and spontaneity towards helping her children acquire added common sense skills. Beverly was blessed with sixchildren, four daughters: Mary, Barbara, Donna, Peg and two sons Mike and Bobby(deceased). were also blessed with 17 grandchildren Rob, Dan, Michelle, David, Melissa,Bobby, Kristen,Jonathan, Maria, Tony, Heather, Jim, Billy, Michael, Betgh, Patrick and Christy. And 28 greatgrandchildren. Beverly was a flexible worker who was able to draw the best from others around her. A persuasive individual who was quick to make necessary decisions, Beverlys strengths included being able to think on her feet. She could be a leader who sought impact for her decisions. Gifted with an incredible ability to read body language, Beverly was able to positively manipulate situations and motivate others in order to get a task completed. She was a good negotiator who enjoyed new challenges. Beverly could multi-task, and she was endowed with entrepreneurial spirit, allowing her to think beyond standard norms when it came to resolving issues in her work environment. maker. Flagmaker. Beverly enjoyed her leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. She had something of an artistic flair in many of the things that she did. She put this creativity toward all of her pastimes. Flagmaking, doll making, sewing, and bowling. She was content to enjoy her hobbies alone but was also willing to share her interests with others. Beverly was a gifted problem solver who worked hard to help accomplish group goals. This skill made her a wonderful asset to the various groups and organizations to which she belonged. Army Officers Wives Club, Bowling League and Church Volunteer. Beverly held close traditional values and as a result, faith was important to her. Catholic. Travel and vacations were experiences that Beverly truly enjoyed. She liked to travel to the following Panama, Japan, Germany. She traveled over the United States while her husband was in the military. Beverly passed away on 3, 2010 at Wellstar Tranquility Hospice in Austell, Georgia. The cause of death congestive heart failure. She is survived by her children Mary, Barbara, Donna, Peggy , Michael and brother Bill. Services were held at Woodstock . Beverly was laid to rest in Holy Sepluchre, Chicago, Illinois. |

Obituary: Marla Panyik, 73, a beloved elementary school teacher in the Gwinnett School System for more than 30 years, died , 13, 2017. She was born to Alex and Angeline Linenberger in Hays, Kansas on 18,1943. She attended girls catholic school for 12 years at Thomas More Prep-Marian. Marla received a bachelors degree in education from Fort Hays State University. As a full time teacher and mom, she diligently worked to pursue her masters degree from Georgia State University and graduated in 1980. She and Rich moved to Gwinnett in 1972 from Alton, Illinois with their son, Chris and daughter, Carrie. She was extremely active in many social and civic activities, such as, The Rotary Club of Loganville, Connections, Beta Kappa Chapter - Alpha Delta Kappa and book club. Most of her 35 years of teaching was at Gwin Oaks Elementary where she influenced with passion many young minds. Up to this time, she still receives cards, invitations to graduations and marriages, and many other heartfelt comments that she was the best teacher they ever had. She passionately worked in the area of adult literacy, too.She loved to travel and over the last decade had visit many place on 4 continents. Her motto was, Have bag, will travel! She never met a stranger (even on the subway in New York) and loved to gather with friends and family. She had a big heart, was extremely giving and her strength and determination was an inspiration to us all.She is survived by her husband, Rich, 2 children (son) Chris Panyik and wife Michelle, (daughter) Carrie Hughes and husband Michael, and 3 grandchildren, Zachary, Zoie and Allie Jane.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Marlas name to The Rotary Foundation. under the direction of Eternal Hills , Snellville, GA. |
