Born in Headland, Alabama in 1923 to Norman and Thelma Haynes, she went on to serve her country as a WWII Army Nurse and met her future husband, William K. Pyle in Memphis, TN. she retired from the US Army, they traveled the world, raising their children. he retired from the military after 30 years, they moved to Orlando. was active member of the First Baptist Church of Orlando where she attended faithfully. had a love for the Lord and a heart of service to others. She is survived by 3 children: Daughter, Rona Flentke; sons, William K. Pyle Jr and Keith Pyle, along with 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren and a sister in law, Ruth Haynes. A grave side service will be held at Glen Haven Memorial Park on 21st at 11:00. |

Obituary: Jessie Loyd Pyle Orange City, FL age 91 passed away on 27, 2015. Loyd was born 29, 1924 in Butler, MO. Son of Edith Petty and Edward Pyle. Moved to Maxwell, IA in 1930, graduated Maxwell High School in 1942. Enlisted in the United States Coast Guard Feb, 1943. Served in the South Pacific during WWII on the USS Charlottsville and honorably discharged 1946. Awarded WWII Victory Medal; Philippine Liberation Medal; Asiatic-Pacific and American Theater Medals. Married high school sweetheart, Patricia Joor, 1946. Graduated Iowa State University 1948 with degree in Dairy Plant Operations. Managed North Dakota dairy plants in Minot; Mandan; Dickinson (20yrs) and Grand Forks (23yrs). Served on the ND Dairy Industry Board and as the processor representative on the ND Milk Stabilization Board from 1972-1995 appointed by three different Governors. Active member of the Lions Club for 44 years and received the honor of being a Melvin Jones Fellow. Served on the Mayors Council in Grand Forks, the Library Board, Church Council and other committees. In 1995 he retired after 47 years in the dairy industry and moved to Highland Lakes in Leesburg, FL. Moved to John Knox Village in 2008. Preceded by Mother, Father and 4 brothers. Surviving family wife, Patricia (Joor) Pyle; 4 children Susan Brown (Larry), Michael Pyle (Cathy), Patricia Berger, Daniel Pyle (Maureen). 10 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
