Obituary: PRESTON, Betty May, passed on 29, 2017. Betty was born, Oct. 10, 1935 in Nashville, IN to parents Lola and George Friskey. She married Walter Preston in 1966 and moved to Redington Shores, FL. Betty was a real estate broker, who bought, sold and developed real estate. In the mid-80's, the Prestons purchased Joyland Country Nightclub, Pinellas Park. Through the years they expanded the Joyland name to(4) locations, with sons Jerry and Rick Lambert. Betty is survived by sister, Dee Dee Coppernol; brother, Bill Friskey; sons, Jerry Lambert and Rick Lambert; daughter-in-law: Stephanie Lambert; grandchildren; Melody Marcotte (Greyson) and Mitchell Lambert; step grandchildren, Rushton Baker and Compton Baker and great grandchildren, Isabeau Marcotte. Obituary: Barbara Otto Preston, 81, passed away peacefully on 28, 2011. She was born on 7, 1929 in Oakland, California to Harold and Harriet Otto and grew up in Queens, NY. Barbara lived on Merritt Island with her late husband, Eden T. Preston, Captain, USN Retired over 30 years. She was an active member and past president of the Rockledge Country Club and was an avid golfer for many years. She is survived by her son, John Wetherell of Milford CT; step-daughter, Penny Bamford of San Diego, CA; step-son, Eden T. Preston (Buddy) of Bucerias, Mexico. She was preceded in death by her step-son, Alan W. Preston of Bucerias, Mexico. She is lovingly remembered by 11 grandsons and 15 great-grandchildren and by a multitude of friends. A service will be held at Florida Memorial on 5, 2011 at 3:00 pm at 5950 US Highway 1, Rockledge, Florida 32959. Obituary: Adela A. Preston, age 94, of Pensacola passed away 29, 2017. Adela Preston was born in Robstown, TX, 16, 1922, a daughter of Melichar and Mary Prochazka. During her life she was a sales clerk, wife, and a mother of three children. She was also a member of St. Annes Catholic Church and the Young at Heart Club. Survivors include her two sons John G. Preston, of , TX, Larry M. Preston of Pensacola, FL, and a daughter Jo Ann Whittlesey of Pensacola, FL, and seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A visitation will be 1, 2017 from 8:30-9:30 am with a funeral service to follow at 9:30 am at Oak Lawn . Burial will be at Barrancas National by her husband Howard G. Preston. Pallbearers will be John G. Preston, Larry M. Preston, Larry Michael Preston, Ed Whittlesey, Jimmy Phetteplace, and Charles Newton.
