Obituary: Lucia was born in Yonkers, New York on 15, 1916, the first born child of Carmela and Gugiielmo Alesio. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband John Plastini who died in of 2014, her first husband Patrick Gentile, and her only Son William Gentile who died in 2007 at the age of 63. She is also predeceased by two brothers, Joseph and Daniel Alesio and a sister Cesidia Conley. Lucia was always happiest when she was engaged in social activities, she spent many years in Westchester ,. New York where she conducted singles dances and became known as "Lucia of Westchester". She met John Plastini at one of her dances. While in Palm Coast she and John became members of the Italian American Social Club of Palm Coast where she served as President of the New York Social Club of Palm Coast for many years. She loved playing bingo, entertaining friends, and taking trips, especially the annual trip to Myrtle Beach to be With John's family for the Plastini golf outing. She was loved, admired and respected by all her friends in Palm Coast all of whom she considered "family". She is survived by her Grandchildren Kim (Daniel) of Marlboro, New York, and William Gentile (Beth), Raliegh, North Carolina, her Great-Grandchildren William, Rachel, and Tristan, her five stepchildren, John, Susan, Christine, Tony and Robert, her brother William Alesio and his wife Georgetta (Phalen), of Toms River, New Jersey, her sister- in-law Marjorie Alesio of Yonkers, New York and countless nephews and nieces. Lucia will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. A visitation is scheduled for 20, 2016 from 10:00 A.M. ~ 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton R.C. Church, located at 4600 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast, Florida 32164. A mass of Christian Burial will follow visitation at 11:00 A.M. in the Church. The entombment will take place immediately following the mass at Volusia Memorial Park, located at 550 North Nova Road, Ormond Beach, Florida 32174. |

Obituary: Mildred Plasner 87 of Satellite Beach passed away on , 17, 2014. She was born on 16, 1927 in Brooklyn, NY. Mildred worked for many years as a real estate agent in Brevard and went on to become the general manager of the Radisson Hotel in Satellite Beach. She was also active as a volunteer with Compassionate Friends and was a Brevard Guardian Ad Litem, she served as past president of Temple Beth Sholom Sisterhood. Mildred was a beloved wife, mother, sister and grandmother and she will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her son Alan Plasner, her sister and best friend Ethel Sulkis, grandson Jason Plasner (Rainbow), great-grandson Aero Plasner and daughter-in-law Sandra Plasner. Mildred is preceded in death by her husband Milton Bob Plasner and her son Mark Robert Plasner. There will be a graveside service held at 1pm on , 19 at Florida Memorial Gardens. Shiva will be observed at her home following. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Mark Plasner Library at Temple Beth Shalom. |
