Obituary: Linda Kay Philleo, age 74, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away on 17, 2016, after a 2-week stay in St. Lucie Medical in Port St. Lucie, Florida. She was a graduate of Gaines High School in Gaines, Michigan, and later attended Michigan State University. She is preceded in death by her parents, George Lawrence and Alma Lawrence (nee Lalonde), and her stepson John David Philleo. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Robert Charles Philleo of Port St. Lucie, FL; her sisters, Mary Ann Eastman (Roger) and Georgina Kallan (Forest) of Gaines, MI; her brothers, Tom Lawrence (Maralyn) of Northglen, CO and Rick Lawrence (Mary) of Mohave Valley, AZ; her stepdaughters Gay Tipton (Mike of Belleview, FL and Mary Sweeney (Jeff) of Knoxville, TN; many nieces and nephews. Ever since childhood, she was a loving, kind and thoughtful person. Her marriage of 43 years to her husband Bob enriched both their lives, and brought him endless happiness. travelled extensively, covering the U.S. from coast-to-coast and border-to-border, flying to London, England, and cruising several times throughout the Caribbean. During their marriage, they moved often to accommodate Bob's sales and marketing career, living in areas of Flint and Detroit, MI; Dayton, OH; and Orlando, Ft. Lauderdale and Hobe Sound, FL. During her working years, she served in office/business management for several doctors' offices. retirement, they chose the Treasure Coast area of Florida, finally settling in Port St. Lucie. Bob and her family would like to extend thanks and gratitude to all the many friends Linda made along the way for their loving support and friendship, during good health and illness, trials, tribulations and successes. would also like to invite you to share stories and favorite memories at www.aycockportstlucie.com, which will also feature pictures of Linda in various stages of her life. Cremation will be handled by Aycock in Port St. Lucie, FL, with interment at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Palm City, FL. Because most of her family and friends are scattered at great distance, there will be no official memorial service locally, and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local Hospice organization, to whom her family is most grateful for their help in making final arrangements. |

Obituary: Charles Edward Phillabaum, 87 years old, of Jupiter, FL, passed away on , 16, 2014. A veteran of World War II and the Korean War. Served in the Philippines, Japan, Germany, and Korea. Received medals and commendations in The Pacific Theater and Europe. Retired as Supervisor of Transportation after 29 years with Pratt & Whitney Aircraft. Beloved by many, admired by all. Had great love for the family pets. Enjoyed fishing, golf, wood working, models, Wrestling and NASCAR, although his greatest enjoyment was time with family. Charles was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife Helen; a brother, William. He is survived by his children; Joseph Anthony (Diane); Stephen Michael (Cynthia); Charles Jr.; and Michelle Jeanne, grandchildren, Kris; Betsy; Angie; Naomi; Charles III; Stephen Jr.; and Roland, 7 great grandchildren, Sister-In-Law Elsie Phillabaum, as well as several Cousins and Niece's.
