Obituary: Gunther Pfisterer 77, of Clermont, passed on Dec. 10, 2016 at Mike Conley Hospice House. He is survived by his wife, Christine and daughter, Kiersten. Born in and grew up Einswarden, Germany and came to America with his parents, Wilhelm and Gertrude, and sister Doris isin when he was just a teenager. Was a die hard soccer player and fan and was involved in it in one way of another for most of his life. Played soccer for Haledon FC and Paterson Dovers when he was young. He was very athletic and great any sport he attempted including tennis, golf, skiing, basketball, and softball. he retired from playing he officiated state, college and high school soccer. He had the honor of officiating Army Navy games and many games at West Point. He was President of the Passaic Sussex Soccer Official Association and was named Referee of the Year. He owned and operated Gunthers Plumbing & Heating in New Jersey. Met his wife of 52 years Christine at the age of 17 on a tennis court Fairlawn, NJ in 1956. made their home in Pompton Lakes, NJ and had one daughter Kiersten. He loved spending time either going out to dinner or to Greenwood Lake with his sister in law Sandra isin and her husband Allen. He cherished his only daughter and followed her to Florida in 2002. There he continued his interest in soccer and was asked to be an arbitrator for Lake Soccer. Gunther had a big love for cruising. He wasn even off a ship before he was trying to plan his next voyage with his family. In his retirement he spent a lot of time at Walt Dinsey World with his family, watched westerns by the hour and sporting events including his favorite team Bayern Munchen. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Southlake Animal League in his memory. |

Obituary: Raymond L. Pfister, MD, FACS 13, 1925 - 23, 2016 Raymond was born in Newport, Kentucky on 13, 1925 to the late Frederick Charles Pfister and Goldie Furnish Pfister. moved to Ft. Thomas Kentucky in 1931, where he spent the rest of his young life. He attended the Ruth Moyer grade school and then Highlands High School. He left there his senior year and under the accelerated program studied Pre-med at the University of Cincinnati. Next he attended the college of Medicine in Cincinnati and graduated in 1948. He married his wife Bobbette Schlenck in 1947 and had four children. Debbie Pfister of Cincinnati, OH, Robyn Pfister Griffin of Naples, FL, Holly Pfister Smith of Ft. Myers, FL, and Michael Pfister of Cincinnati, OH. He has seven grandchildren; Diane Griffin, Timothy Griffin, Michael Pfister Smith MD, Elizabeth Smith, Chase Smith, Tyler Pfister and Holly Pfister. He also has 8 great grandchildren; Ruby Griffin, Wheeler Griffin, Timothy Griffin, Kennedy Griffin, Logan Griffin, Amelia Smith, Cole Smith and Sawyer Smith. Following his internship at The Christ Hospital, in Cincinnati, he attended Harvard post-graduate school in medicine and completed his residency in Otolaryngology Head and Neck surgery at The Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. He then spent two years in the United States Air Force as a Captain at Sampson Air Force Base in Geneva NY. During that time he was in charge of the Head and Neck surgical department. leaving the Air Force he returned to Cincinnati to the private practice of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. He was on the staff at Christ Hospital, Bethesda Hospital and the Childrens Hospital. He was also a Clinical Professor of Otolaryngology at the University of Cincinnati of Medicine. In 1973 he and his wife moved to Naples, FL. He held various staff positions at Naples Community Hospital. These included President of the Medical Staff, Chief of Surgery, Chairman Professional Capabilities Committee, Chairman of Credentials Committee, Vice President of Medical Affairs, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees Naples Community Hospital. He was a member of the Port Royal Club, Past Commodore of the Naples Yacht Club, Past Commodore of The Sailing Association of Marco Island. Member of Phi Kappa Epsilon and The Pediatric Society, honoree fraternities of medical schools. He was also a Fellow of the American of Surgeons, a member of the Collier Medical Society, a Diplomate of the American of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Society. A member of the Thoroughbred Club of Cincinnati, The Keeneland Club of Lexington, KY, a Mason and a Shriner. He was also a member of Trinity by The Cove Church and the American Medical Association. Raymond was preceded in death by his wife Bobbette Pfister, and his brothers Glenn Pfister, MD and Howard Pfister, MD. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and sister Loraine Eppler of Baltimore, MD. Obituary: Joseph Joe A. Pfister, of Jamaica Bay, Fort Myers was born on 24, 1948 in Jamaica, New York to his parents Joseph A. and Marie (Contardo) Pfister. He passed away on 19, 2015 in Fort Myers, FL. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Donna (ONeil) Pfister; children Craig (Kelli) Pfister, Michelle Pfister Motes, and Nicole Pfister; grandchildren Katelyn, Gretchen, Bradey, Brenden, Westen, and LuciAna; mother Marie Pfister; brother Thomas Pfister; and many family and friends who will miss him dearly. Obituary: Gilbert J. Pfister, Sr., 82, of Palm Bay, passed away , 20, 2010 at William Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay, surrounded by his wife, his four children and other members of his family. Mr. Pfister retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1973 achieving the top NCO rank of Chief Master Sergeant. He resided here for the past 37 years and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church during that time. He was a lifetime member of V.F.W. Post #4536 and of the NCOA. Mr. Pfister is survived by his wife of 56 years, Nancy J.
